Ուկրաինայի արեւելքում շարունակվող հակամարտության ընթացքում զոհվել Է ավելի քան 9 հազար 700 մարդ, եւս 22 հազար 700-ը վերքեր են ստացել: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ասված Է ՄԱԿ-ի՝ Ուկրաինայում մարդու իրավունքների հարցերով մոնիթորինգային առաքելության (ՈւՄԻՄԱ) հերթական եռամսյակային զեկույցում:
«2014 թվականի ապրիլի կեսերից մինչեւ 2016 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 1-ը զոհվածների ընդհանուր թիվը կազմում Է 9 հազար 758, եւս 22 հազար 779-ը՝ վիրավորվել են»,-նշվում Է փաստաթղթում:
Զեկույցում ընդգծվում Է, որ «այդ թիվը ներառում Է Ուկրաինայի զինված ուժերի, քաղաքացիական անձանց եւ զինված խմբերի անդամների կորուստները»: Ավելի քան երկու հազար զոհվածներ քաղաքացիական անձինք են, ներառյալ Դոնբասում կործանված «Բոյինգ»-ի 298 ուղեւորները եւ անձնակազմի անդամները, հիշեցնում Է ՈւՄԻՄԱ-ն: Հակամարտության ընթացքում վիրավորված քաղաքացիական անձանց թիվը գնահատվում Է 6-7 հազար, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
