Այսօր՝ դեկտեբերի 8-ին, «Միասնություն» համազգային շարժումը կազմակերպել էր կլոր սեղան-քննարկում՝ «Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքականությունը եվրոպական և եվրասիական վեկտորների միջև» թեմայով:

Բացման խոսքով հանդես եկավ «Միասնություն» շարժման համակարգող խորհրդի նախագահ Արման Վարդանյանը, ով իր խոսքում կարևորեց նման ձևաչափով քննարկումները, քանի որ այն թույլ է տալիս լսել ոլորտի մասնագետների կարծիքը, հանրային հնչեղություն տալ մեր հասարակության օրակարգային բոլոր հարցերին, այնուհետև մշակել և վեր հանել համազգային նշանակության խնդիրներ:

«Գաղտնիք չէ, որ նման կարգի համազգային նշանակության խնդիրներից մեկը Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքական ճիշտ կողմնորոշման ու հիմնական վեկտորների ընտրության հարցն է: Նույնիսկ եվրասիական ինտեգրացիոն պրոյեկտին միանալուց հետո էլ մեր հասարակական-քաղաքական դիսկուրսում շարունակվում են քննարկումները, թե որ ուղին է արդյունավետ՝ եվրոպակա՞ն, թե՞ եվրասիական ինտեգրացիան: Ասեմ ավելին՝ այդ քննարկումները երբեմն վերածվում են եվրոպամետների ու ռուսամետների միջև դաժան պայքարի, այն աստիճան, որ դառնում ենք Հռոմի պապից ավելի կաթոլիկ»,- ասաց Արման Վարդանյանը, շեշտելով՝  «Միասնություն» շարժման համար նման մոտեցումներն ընդունելի չեն և իրենց համար գերական ազգային շահի գաղափարն է, պետական շահի գիտակցումը քաղաքական որոշումներ ընդունողների մոտ, պետականամետ մտածողության սերմանումը՝ երիտասարդության շրջանում:

Վարդանյանի խոսքով՝ մեր երկրին պետք են հայրենասեր, ազգի նվիրյալ առաջնորդներ՝ հատկապես նոր սերնդի քաղաքական գործիչների շրջանում: «Միայն նման որակներով օժտված մարդիկ կարող են ավելի վստահ ու արժանապատիվ և՛ արտաքին, և՛ ներքին քաղաքականություն վարել, միջազգային հարաբերություններում հավասարը հավասարի հետ շփվել աշխարհի հզորների հետ, դառնալ իրական գործընկեր, թոթափել վասալային մտածելակերպը: Մենք հավատում ենք, որ փոքր ազգ լինելով հանդերձ, մենք կարող ենք, և պե՛տք է դառնանք իրական գործընկերներ ինչպես եվրասիական, այնպես էլ եվրոպական հարթակներում: Մենք ամենուր ենք, սա 21-րդ դարում մեր ժողովրդի ստրատեգիական առավելությունն է, որը մենք ամեն կերպ պետք է ռեալիզացնենք»,- ասաց Արման Վարդանյանը:
