Վերջերս երգչուհին Գարիկ Պապոյանի հետ նախագծով հանդես եկավ, որի շրջանակում համատեղ փոքրիկ համերգ ներկայացրին: Դրական արձագանքների շնորհիվ` այսօր նույն համերգը կրկին կկայանա.
 
«Գարիկի հետ մեկ տարուց ավել աշխատել ու արդեն 20-ից ավելի երգեր ունենք, որոնց շարքում տեղ են գտել ինչպես բոլորիս կողմից շատ սիրված հին հայկական երգերը, այնպես էլ վերջին շրջանում ծնված ու Հայաստանում շատ հայտնի երգերը: Փորձել ենք անդրադառնալ գրեթե բոլոր ժանրերի երգերին ու դրանք ներկայացնել մեր մեկնաբանմամբ: Կարծում եմ` շատ հետաքրքիր համերգ է ստացվել, ամեն դեպքում առաջին համերգի արձագանքները շատ բուռն էին: Իսկ այսօր կկայանա արդեն երկրորդ համերգը»,- պատմեց Սոնա Ռուբենյանը:
 
Հանդիսատեսը սովոր է երգչուհուն տեսնել մեղմ երգեր երգելիս, իսկ այդ նախագծի շրջանակներում երգրուհին ռոք է կատարում: Հարցին, թե որքանո՞վ է իրեն համահունչ զգում ռոքում, պատասխանեց.
 
«Փորձում եմ ինքս ինձ բոլոր ոճերում փորձել ու թեկուզ ինքս ինձ համար հասկանալ, թե ինչպես եմ իմ առջեւ դրված խնդիրները լուծում: Ինձ համար շատ կարեւոր է, որ երգիչը կարողանա ամեն ոճում երգել, իհարկե, իր մեջ ունենալով իրեն ամենահարզատ ոճը: Անկախ ոճից` ես երգում եմ երգեր, որոնք ինձ հարազատ են, սրտիս մոտ են: Ինչ վերավերում է ռոքին, այն շատ մեծ էներգետիկա ունի, ինքս ինձ շատ լավ եմ զգում այդ ժանրում: Անասելի մեծ բավականություն եմ ստացել առաջին համերգից, քանի որ ռոքի էներգետիկան հաղորդելով` կրկնակին հետ ես ստանում»:
 
Բացի նշված համերգից, երգչուհին շարունակում է ստեղծագործել, գալիք տարում էլ նույն ակտիվությամբ կշարունակի աշխատել.
«Արդեն իսկ կարող եմ ասել, որ 2017-ը շատ ավելի ակտիվ է լինելու, նոր աշխատանքների պակաս հաստատ չի լինի, սակայն սպասվող հագեցած տարվա մասին փակագծեր դեռ չեմ բացի»,- ավարտեց երգչուհին:
