Ադրբեջանում ԱՄՆ դեսպանատունն այդ երկրում գործող Nida քաղաքացիական շարժման ակտիվիստ Բայրամ Մամեդովին 10 տարվա ազատազրկման դատապարտելու վերաբերյալ մտահոգություն է հայտնել:
Այս մասին հայտնում է ադրբեջանական azadliq.info լրատվական գործակալությունը:
«Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգները եւ Ադրբեջանը ժողովրդավարության եւ մարդու իրավունքների բնագավառում արդեն երկար ժամանակ է համատեղ աշխատանք են տանում եւ դա մեր համատեղ գործունեության հիմնական առաջնահերթություններից է: Վաշինգտոնը բազմիցս Ադրբեջանին կոչ է արել պահպանել մարդու հիմնարար ազատությունների սկզբունքը եւ ազատ արձակել բոլոր ձերբակալվածներին: Մենք մտահոգություն ենք հայտնում դեկտեմբերի 8-ին Բաքվի ծանր հանցագործությունների դատարանի կողմից քաղաքացիական ակտիվիստ Բայրամ Մամեդովին 10 տարվա ազատազրկման ենթարկելու խնդրի վերա բերյալ »,- ասված է դեսպանատան հայտարարության մեջ:
Բայրամ Մամեդովը եւ Քիյաս Իբրահիմովը Բաքվում Հեյդար Ալիեւի արձանի վրա կարգախոս գրելու պատճառով ձերբակալվել են: Երիտասարդներին, սակայն մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել թմրանյութերի ապօրինի ձեռքբերման, պահպանման եւ իրացման հատկանիշներով:
Անդրադառնալով այս հարցին` Միջազգային կազմակերպությունները եւս Ադրբեջանի իշխանություններին կոչ էին արել վերջ տալ լրագրողներին քաղաքական հայացքների պատճառով հետապնդելու եւ նրանց նկատմամբ ճնշումներ իրականացնելու քաղաքականությանը՝ պահանջելով ազատ արձակել Քիյաս Իբրահիմովին եւ Բայրամ Մամեդովին, եւ ապահովել հանրային ազատ մուտք դեպի անկախ լրատվական աղբյուրներ:
