Վերջին շրջանում շատ են տեղեկությունները իսրայելաադրբեջանական մերձեցման վերաբերյալ։ Ուշագրավ էր հատկապես Իսրայելի հատուկ ծառայության՝ Մոսադի ղեկավարի հայտարարությունն առ այն, որ հետայսու Իսրայելը և Ադրբեջանը կհամագործակցեն նաև ազգային անվտանգության հարցերում։ Այս ֆոնին, այլևս պատահականությանը կամ ձևական այցին չենք կարող վերագրել Իսրայելի վարչապետի ուղևորությունը Ադրբեջան։ Բենյամին Նեթանյահուին ուղեկցեցին մոտ երեք տասնյակ պաշտոնյաներ, իսկ այցը կազմակերպվեց ամենաբարձր մակարդակով։ Նրան ընդունեց Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը։ Ադրբեջանի և Իսրայելի համագործակցությունը նոր չէ։ Մենք այն մեր մաշկի վրա զգացել ենք հատկապես ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմի օրերին, երբ ուղղակիորեն գործարկվեցին իսրայելական արտադրության անօդաչու սարքերը։ Իսկ ռազմական համագործակցություն մինչ այդ էլ կար, պարզապես, ի տարբերություն Ռուսաստանի պարագայի, մենք տեղյակ չենք, թե Ադրբեջանն Իսրայելից ինչ քանակի և ինչ տեսակի զինտեխնիկա է գնում։
 
 
Այս մերձեցումը կարող է ունենալ մի քանի պատճառ, որոնցից թերևս առաջինը Իսրայելի տարածաշրջանային գործոն լինելու հանգամանքն է։ Այն նաև համարվում է ԱՄՆ բանբերը Մերձավոր Արևելքում, և հավանական է, որ այս միջոցով, այդ երկիրը փորձում է անուղղակիորեն ազդել Ադրբեջանի վրա։ Պետք չէ բացառել նաև հենց հրեաների ազգային շահը։ Սա կարող է լինել նաև հակակշիռ քայլ հայ–պարսկական մերձեցմանը։ Ինչպես հայտնի է, տարածաշրջանում, բացի արաբական երկրներից, Իսրայելի ոխերիմ հակառակորդ է համարվում Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետությունը։ Այս թնջուկում, հատկապես, եթե հաշվի ենք առնում հայ–իրանական բարիդրացիական հարաբերությունները, իսկ ադրբեջանաիրանական հարաբերություններում ընդհակառակը՝ կա սառը լարվածություն, հատկապես Հյուսիսային Իրանի էթնիկ կազմի հետ կապված, ապա պատահական չէ, որ Իսրայելը կփորձի շահել այս ամենից։ Այսինքն, տարածաշրջանում նա ուղղակիորեն հակակշռում է ադրբեջանական գործոնն իրանականին։ Իհարկե, ենթատեքստում այն ուղղված կլինի նաև մեր դեմ։ Սակայն կա մի պարագա ևս, որը չենք կարող հաշվի չառնել և որտեղ մենք բավականին մեղավոր ենք։ Դա թուրք–իսրայելյան լարված հարաբերություններն են։ Մեկ անգամ չէ, որ թուրքական կողմը լարված ու սպառնալիք պարունակող հայտարարություններ է արել Իսրայելի հասցեին։ Դա հատկապես դրսևորվում է այն ժամանակ, երբ Թուրքիան հերթական անգամ որոշում է ստանձնել իսլամական աշխարհի առաջնորդի դերը։ Այդ հայտարարությունները երբեմն իրենց մեջ կրում են պատերազմի ուղղակի սպառնալիքի բնույթ։ Իսրայելական պատասխանը չի ուշանում և գրեթե նույնաբովանդակ է։ Ասել կուզե, թուրք–իսրայելյան հարաբերությունները հիմա ամենաջերմ մակարդակում չեն և բնական կլիներ, որ տարածաշրջանային այս հակասություններից մենք կարողանայինք օգտվել և հակազդող գործոնները ծառայեցնել ի շահ մեր պետականության։ Սակայն դրանցից օգտվելու համար պետք է ունենանք լուրջ դիվանագիտական կորպուս և արտաքին քաղաքականություն, որն այս պահին, ցավոք սրտի, չունենք։ Թե ի՞նչ հետևանքների կարող է հանգեցնել Ադրբեջան–Իսրայել այս նոր սիրավեպը, ցույց կտա ժամանակը։ Բայց հարկ է, շատ արագ կողմնորոշվել ստեղծված իրավիճակում և հակազդել այս գործընթացին։
