Սյունիքի մարզի պրոբլեմների լուծումները չեն ուշանա

Հայաստանի համար Տարածքային համաչափ զարգացման ապահովումը և մարզերի սոցիալ-տնտեսական կայունության ապահովումն ունի ռազմավարական նշանակություն: Մարզերում տնտեսական ակտիվությանը նպաստելը համարվում է պետության առանցքային խնդիրներից մեկը:
Տնտեսական համաչափ զարգացման քաղաքականությունից և Սյունիքի մարզում զարգացման և ներդրումային բարենպաստ դաշտի ստեղծման համակարգված գործողությունների անհրաժեշտությունից ելնելով՝ գործադիրը որոշում է ընդունել «Սյունիքի մարզի զարգացման և ներդրման» հիմնադրամի ստեղծման մասին:
Սյունիքի մարզը 4506 քառ.կմ տարածքով զբաղեցնում է ՀՀ տարածքի շուրջ 15 տոկոսը, իր մեջ ներառում է 135 բնակավայր, որոնցից 105 սահմանամերձ, լեռնային կամ բարձր լեռնային են: Մարզում առկա են բազմաթիվ խնդիրներ տնտեսության գրեթե բոլոր բնագավառներում, որոնք ամբողջությամբ չեն կարող լուծվել պետական կամ համայնքային բյուջեների միջոցներով: Այս պարագայում հիմնադրամը հնարավորություն կունենա ներգրավել դրամական միջոցներ և մասնագիտական ռեսուրսներ, որոնք կուղղվեն բացառապես մարզի տնտեսական և սոցիալական խնդիրների լուծմանը` ներդրումներ ներգրավելու, նոր աշխատատեղեր ստեղծելու, տնտեսական ակտիվությունն բարձրացնելու և նման այլ միջոցներով:
