Եվրամիություն-Հայաստան նոր շրջանակային պայմանագրի բանակցային գործընթացը, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, կավարտվի 2017թ. գարնանը: Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը նշեց ՀՀ ԱԺ պատգամավոր, «Եվրոպական ինտեգրացիա» հասարակական կազմակերպության նախագահ Կարեն Բեքարյանը: Լրագրողների այն դիտարկմանը, թե ամեն դեպքում գործընթացը ձգձգվում է, Կարեն Բեքարյանը հակադարձեց:
«Ես ընդհանրապես այդ կարծիքին չեմ, որ գործընթացը ձգձգվում է: Հինգ փուլ անցնելն ամենևին չի նշանակում ձգձգում: Առավել ևս, հաշվի առնելով այն հանգամանքը, որ մենք ունենք հավակնություն բավական մեծ փաթեթի: Մեկ, երկու էջանոց համաձայնագիր չի նախատեսվում: Նախատեսվում է փաստաթուղթ բոլոր ուղղություններով, ոլորտներով, կարգավորումներով, պայմանավորվածություններով: Այլ հարց է, որ մենք շահագրգիռ ենք, որ գործընթացը լինի հնարավորինս արագ բոլոր փուլերով: Ես հուսով եմ, որ հաջորդ տարվա գարնանն այս գործընթացը կավարտվի: Իմ տպավորությամբ կարող է լինել մեկ կամ երկու փուլ»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` ասաց նա:
