Ադրբեջանում Իսրայելի ակտիվացումը տեղի է ունենում Իրանի համար կարևորագույն մի ժամանակաշրջանում, երբ երկրում ակտիվանում է նախընտրական քաղաքական պայքարը: 2017թ: մայիսին Իրանում սպասվում են նախագահական ընտրություններ, որոնց արդյունքները էական նշանակություն ունեն առաջին հերթին Իրան-ԱՄՆ հարաբերությունների տեսանկյունից: Ընտրությունների արդյունքում Իրանին կհաջողվի արդյոք զարգացնել ու ամրապնդել Արևմուտքի հետ ձեռքբերված պայմանավորվածությունները, թե հաղթանակ կտանի երկրի ղեկավարության պահպանողական թևը` ի դեմս Ահմադինեժադի, ով վերջին շրջանում բավական ակտիվ նախընտրական գործունեություն է ծավալում: 
Այս տեսանկյունից չպետք է բացառել, որ Ադրբեջանում իսրայելական հատուկ ծառայությունների գործունեության ակտիվացման հարցերի շուրջ իսրայելա-ադրբեջանական վերջին պայմանավորվածությունները` այդ թվում և համապատասխան անվտանգության սարքավորումների տեղակայման վերաբերյալ համաձայնությունը, խոսում են իսրայելական կողմից Իրանի նախագահական ընտրություններին միջամտման ու դրանց վերջնական արդյունքների ուղղությամբ ազդեցություն գործելու մտադրության մասին: Իսրայելի համար սա շատ կարևոր նշանակություն ունի մերձավորարևելյան ու մասնավորապես սիրիական ճգնաժամի համատեքստում, որտեղ Իրանի կողմից զգալի աջակցություն ստացող ասադական ուժերը ձեռք են բերել որոշակի ստրատեգիական առավելություններ ԻՊ-ի նկատմամբ:


Նշենք նաև, որ Իրանը տիրապետում է քաղաքական, պաշտպանական-լոգիստիկ հսկայական ռեսուրսների` իր ուղղությամբ նետված մարտահրավերներին համարժեք արձագանքման համար: Այս առումով հստակեցնենք, որ Իրան-Իսրայել շահերի առճակատման կիզակետում է հայտնվել Ադրբեջանը, որի արտաքին քաղաքական հիմնական վեկտորները զգալիորեն կաղապարվեցին Նեթանյահուի այցով, և էապես նվազեց Ալիևի մանևրելու հնարավոր սանդղակը:
