ԱՄՆ գործող նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման հունվարի 20-ին իր պարտականություններն ու լիազորություները պաշտոնապես կհանձնի նորընտիր նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփին ու ընտանիքի հետ կլքի Սպիտակ տունը:

 Ինչպես նշում է The Daily Mail-ը, Օբաման կնոջ ու 2 դուստրերի հետ շարունակելու է ապրել Վաշինգտոնում, սական Սպիտակ տան փոխարեն` 5.3 մլն դոլար արժողությամբ առաձնատանը, որը, ի դեպ, արդեն վերանորգվում է Օբամաների նորմուտին ընդառաջ:

 Բրիտանական աղբյուրը մանրամասնում է, որ վերանորգման աշխատանքների շրջանակում կատարելագործվում է  առաձնատան անվատնգության համակարգը, ինչպես նաև ավելացվում է 2 աշխատասենյակ:

Հայտնի է, որ նախագահական ընտանիքը Վաշինգտոնում մնալու որոշումը կայացրել է այն պարզ պատճառով, որ նրանց կրտսեր դուստրը՝ 15-ամյա Սաշան, պետք է ավարտի Sidwell Friends School ավագ դպրոցը:
 

Նշվում է, որ առաձնատունը, որտեղ տեղափոխվելու են Օբամաները, կառուցվել է 1928թ., ունի 9 ննջասենյակ, 8 լոգասենյակ ու հարմարավետ կյանքի համար բոլոր պայմանները:

They have decided to stay in DC so 15-year-old Sasha Obama can finish out high school at the Sidwell Friends School. Malia Obama is taking a gap year before heading to Harvard 

The stately home has plenty of windows to let in the DC sunshine, hardwood floors, and large rooms - though not as large as White House rooms

There's an upstairs office, in addition to the one being built in the garage, suggesting there's plenty more to come from both Barack and Michelle Obama 

The rented pad is getting an upgrade fit for the former First Couple, including tighter security
