Իրանի ԱԳՆ-ն դա պարզաբանել է նախագահ Հ. Ռուհանիի արտերկրյա այցելություններով և փոխնախագահի վրա դրված նոր պարտականություններով: Սակայն, պարզ է, որ այցի չեղարկումը քաղաքական պատճառներ ունի: Իրանում Թուրքիայի դեսպանը կանչվել է իրանական ԱԳՆ` Թուրքիայում Իրանի դիվանագիտական ներկայացուցչությունների առջև վերջին օրերին տեղի ունեցած հակաիրանական զանգվածային ակցիաների կապակցությամբ պարզաբանումներ տալու:
Իրանի ԱԳՆ խոսնակը հայտարարել է, որ ոստիկանությունը նախապես չի տեղեկացրել դիվանագիտական ներկայացուցչությունների դիմաց նախատեսված զանգվածային ակցիաների մասին և Թուրքիայում «որոշ շրջանակներ» հակաիրանական մթնոլորտ են ստեղծում: Վերջին շրջանում Հալեպի զարգացումներով պայմանավորված` Թուրքիայում տեղի են ունենում հակաիրանական կոչեր, ակցիաներ, իսկ թուրքական մամուլն ուղղակի հակաիրանական պաթոսով է լցված:
