Դեկտեմբերի 19-ին, վառվեցին մայրաքաղաքի տոնածառի և ընդհանրապես տոնական լույսերը։ Նախապես այս թեման քննարկվել էր և քաղաքապետարանը նշել էր, որ նոր տոնածառ չի լինելու։ Սակայն, ինչպես լինում է նման դեպքերում, «յախք, էս ինչ կեղտոտ պադյեզդա» սկզբունքով առաջնորդները, կգտնեն քննադատելու առարկա։ Հայտնի ճշմարտությունն ասում է, որ ով չի կարողանում դառնալ գրող, նա դառնում է գրաքննադատ։ Հիմա այդ նույն վայ քննադատների սկզբունքն է, ովքեր փորձում են կեղտ ման գալ ամեն ինչում։
 
Տպավորություն է ստեղծվում, որ եթե անգամ նրանց տաս դույլով լի մաքուր կաթ, նրանք անպայման կթքեն այդ կաթի մեջ, ապացուցելու համար, որ այն կեղտոտ է։ Պատկերացնում ենք, թե ինչ վայնասուն կբարձրանար, եթե քաղաքապետարանը որոշեր այս տարի տեղադրել նոր տոնածառ։ Նրանք միմյանց հերթ չտալով կոկորդ կպատռեին, թե այս սոցիալ-տնտեսական ծայրահեղ պայմաններում, երբ ամեն մի լուման հաշվելու կարիք ունի... վերջում անպայման հղում կանեին միտք առ այն, որ տոնածառի փոխարեն կարելի էր այդ գումարը ուղարկել զինվորներին։ Սա կլիներ ու եղեք համոզված, որ ասվածը մերկապարանոց չէ։ Այդ նույնը տեղի ունեցավ Գյումրիում, երբ հաշվում էին քաղաքի տոնածառի և տոնական զարդարանքների գները։ Ի դեպ, գրեթե նույն կազմն էր քննադատողների, որոնք ասում են, թե էլի մայրաքաղաքի տոնածառը նույնն է լինելու։ Ընդհանրապես, ցանկացած հասարակության մեջ էլ կա դատարակապորտերի մի խումբ, որի աշխատանքը միայն ու միայն անբովանդակ խոսելն ու չհիմնավորված քննադատելն է։ Զարմանքի են արժանի միայն նրանցով հիացողները կամ նրանց աջակցողները։ Չնայած, ինչպես կասեր դասականը ՝ զարմանում եմ ես, որ էլ ոչ մի բանից ես չեմ զարմանում։
 
Բուն էության մեջ, շատ բնական է, երբ տոնական ծախսերը և դրանց հատկացվող գումարները կրճատվում են։ Դրանք կարող են ծախսվել մեկ այլ տեղ։ Մայրաքաղաքը տոնածառից զատ այլ էական խնդիրներ ունի լուծելու, որոնք ավելի կենսական նշանակություն ունեն։ Այդ նույն քննադատները, չտեսնելու տվեցին կամ մոռացել էին ակնոցները ներկայացնելու զուգահեռ տեղի ունեցող իրադարձություն։ Այն է ՝ Արշակունյաց պողոտա-Շիրակի փողոց-Արտաշատի խճուղի նորակառույց ճանապարհի մասը, որն ունի շուրջ հինգ կմ երկարություն։ Հայաստանյան պայմաններում, այդքան էլ հեշտ չէ համայնքային բյուջեյի խնայողությունների շնորհիվ նաև, կառուցել նման մի ճանապարհ, որն ունի 24-28 մետր միջին լայնություն, տրանսպորտային հոսքերի անընդհատ երթևեկությունն ապահովող 270 մ երկարությամբ ուղեանց (էստակադա)՝ Արտաշատի խճուղու երկաթուղային գծանցի վրայով, հաշմանդամների համար վերգետնյա անցումի վերելակ և շենքերի բնակիչների համար առանձին անցումներ։ Սա կարծես թե ոչ ոք չի նկատում։ Քննադատության մառազմով տարված այդ խումբը, թվում է թե իր ինքնաիրացումը գտնում է միայն այդ ասպեկտում։ Ամփոփելով ասածը պետք է փաստենք, որ քննադատելու բազմաթիվ այլ ոլորտներ կան, իսկ խնայելը միայն պետք է ողջունել։
