Գեղարքունիքի մարզի տարածքում վերջին օրերին գրանցված եւ պահպանվող սառնամանիքները ցրտահարության վտանգ են ստեղծում որոշ պտղատու ծառատեսակների համար: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրեց Ծովինար գյուղում տնկարանային տնտեսություն վարող վաստակաշատպտղաբույծ Խաչիկ Տեր-Հովսեփյանը, մինչեւ 25 աստիճան սառնամանիքները հիմնականում լուրջ սպառնալիքներ չեն կարող ստեղծել Գեղարքունիքի մարզում աճող պտղատու ծառատեսակների համար, սակայն դրանից ավելի ցածր նիշի դեպքում սառնամանիքները կարող են սպառնալ ծիրանի, դեղձի, ընկույզի եւ կեռասի ծառերին: «1973 թվականին մենք Ծովինարի պետական տնկարանի տարածքում ունեինք կեռասի մինչեւ 50 տարեկան ծառեր, որոնք այդ ձմռան ընթացքում 35 աստիճան սառնամանիքից ցրտահարվեցին ամբողջությամբ: 2002 թվականին եւս մեր տարածքում ցրտահարվեցին ծիրանի եւ դեղձի ծառերը, երբ գրանցվեցին 25 աստիճանից էլ ցածր սառնամանիքներ: Իսկ տանձի, խնձորի եւ սալորի ծառերը դիմացկուն են մեր խստաշունչ ձմեռների համար»,-նշեց Խաչիկ Տեր-Հովսեփյանը:

Ըստ վաստակաշատ պտղաբույծի դիտարկման եւ կանխատեսման՝ Ծովինարի տարածքում մինչ այժմ գրանցված ցուրտն եղել է 15-20 աստիճանի սահմաններում, որի դեպքում պտղատու ծառատեսակները չեն վնասվել, փոխարենը վտանգի հավանականությունը մեծ է մարզի այն տարածքներում, մասնավորապես բարձրլեռնային գոտիներում, ուր գրանցվել է մինչեւ 26 աստիճան սառնամանիք: «Կարող են վնասված լինել դեղձի, ծիրանի, կեռասի եւ ընկույզի ծառերը: Ընդ որում, դրանք խիստ ցրտերից պաշտպանելու որեւէ ձեւ չկա: Մնում է հուսալ միայն, որ մեզ մոտ սառնամանիքները տեւական ժամանակով չեն պահպանվի կամ չեն հասնի մինչեւ 30-35 աստիճանի»,-ընդգծեց Խաչիկ Տեր-Հովսեփյանը:
