Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությունը ռազմական լուծում չունի և պետք է կարգավորվի բացառապես խաղաղ ճանապարհով: Երևանում ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի հետ հանդիպումից հետո համատեղ ասուլիսում այս մասին ասաց Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության նախագահ Հասան Ռոհանին: «Մեզ համար Հայաստանը և Ադրբեջանը բարեկամ երկրներ են, և հուսով ենք, որ ակ անատես կլինենք տարածաշրջանում կայուն խաղաղության հաստատմանը, որը կլինի ողջ տարածաշրջանի օգտին: Անկասկած այս խնդիրը ռազմական լուծում չունի: Մենք ցանկանում ենք ականատես լինել հարցի խաղաղ ճանապարհով կարգավորմանը»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ասաց Ռոհանին:
Նա հավելեց, որ ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի հետ հանդիպման ընթացքում անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության խնդիրներին: «Երկու երկրներն էլ տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության ապահովման գործում ունեն որոշակի գործադրված ջանքեր և պետք է այս ուղղությամբ բոլոր երկրների հետ կարողանալ հաստատել սերտ փոխգործակցություն, որպեսզի ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարում կարողանանք արդյունավետ քայլեր ձեռնարկել»,-ընդգծեց Հասան Ռոհանին:
Իրանի նախագահը նկատեց, որ Իրաքն ու Սիրիան այսօր ահաբեկչության խնդրի առաջ են կանգնած և այդ խնդիրները լուծելու հարցում ևս արդյունավետ փոխգործակցության անհրաժեշտություն կա:
