«Միասնություն» համազգային շարժումն անցկացրեց  հերթական կլոր սեղան-քննարկումը, որը կրում էր «Հայ հասարակության մենթալ կարծրատիպերը և կանանց քաղաքական մասնակցությունը» խորագիրը:

Քննարկման բանախոսներից՝ Աշխատանքի և սոցիալական հետազոտությունների ազգային ինստիտուտի սոցիալական աջակցության և սոցիալական ինովացիաների բաժնի պետ Արմինե Մխիթարյանը կարևորեց կանանց զբաղվածության հարցը: Ըստ բանախոսի՝ Հայաստանում կանայք սովորաբար ստանում են ցածր աշխատավարձ, քանի որ բարձր աշխատավարձով աշխատանքները նախատեսված են տղամարդկանց համար:

Անկախ կնոջ մասնագիտական ընդունակություններից, հասարակության մեջ արմատացած է մի տեսակետ, որ կինը չի կարող բարձր աշխատավարձ ստանալ. դա տղամարդու գործն է, քանի որ տղամարդիկ են ընտանիքը պահողն ու սնողը: «Ես կարող եմ բերել բազմաթիվ օրինակներ, երբ ընտանիքի տղամարդիկ մեկնել են արտագնա աշխատանքի և ընտանիքը պահելու հիմնական հոգսն ընկել է կնոջ ուսերին: Կանայք աշխատում են և՛ տանը,  և՛ աշխատավայրում, բայց մեզանում առկա կարծրատիպն այս հարցում չի փոխվում»,-շեշտեց Մխիթարյանը՝ հավելելով, որ երեխա ունենալը կնոջը չպետք է զրկի աշխատանքի հնարավորությունից և պետք է գտնել երեխայի խնամքի այլընտրանքային տարբերակներ:

Ըստ բանախոսի՝  և՛ կանանց,  և՛ տղամարդկանց պետք է տնտեսապես կայանալ, հետո մտածել քաղաքականապես կայանալու մասին:
