Հոլիվուդի լեգենդն իր 101-րդ Նոր տարին կդիմավորի Փարիզում: Ձմեռային տոներին Տասներորդ մուսայի երկրպագուներն ամբողջ աշխարհից վերստին կժամանեն Ֆրանսիայի մայրաքաղաք, որպեսզի կանգնեն 16-րդ օկրուգի հարմարավետ փողոցի այն տան մոտ, որտեղ ահա արդեն երկար տարիներ ապրում Է աշխարհում լավագույն Մելանին «Քամուց քշվածները» ֆիլմից, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
Օլիվիա դե Հեւիլենդը վերջինն Է այդ գրեթե չորսժամանոց կինոնկարում գլխավոր դերակատարների աստղային քառյակից, որն Էկրան Է բարձրացել 1939 թվականին: Ֆիլմը, որը վարձույթում հավաքել 390 մլն դոլար, ամենահասութաբերն Է ճանաչվել կինեմատոգրաֆի պատմության մեջ:
Մելանի Համիլթոնի դերն այսօր Էլ գլխավորն Է մնում դե Հեւիլենդի կարիերայում:
Սքառլեթի դերի հավակնորդուհիների թիվը, որն արդյունքում առաջարկվեց Վիվիեն Լիին, հազարից ավելի Էր: Եվ միայն դե Հեւիլենդը, ընթերցելով Մարգարեթ Միթչելի վեպը, որը դրվել Էր կինոնկարի հիմքում, ցանկացավ մարմնավորել հենց Մելանիին: Ի դեպ դերասանուհին միշտ գիտեր, թե ինչ Է ինքն ուզում: «Լինել անկախ, ունենալ նպատակ, ընկերներ, սիրել ու սիրված լինել»,-մի անգամ նա այսպես Է ձեւակերպել կյանքի գլխավոր արժեքները:
Իր կարիերայի ընթացքում նա «Օսկար» երկու մրցանակ Է ստացել «Յուրաքանչյուրին՝ իրենը» (1948 թ.) եւ «Ժառանգորդուհին» (1949 թ.) ֆիլմերի համար եւ երկու անգամ Էլ արժանացել Է «Ոսկե գլոբուս» մրցանակի: Լոս Անջելեսի հոլիվուդյան ծառուղում բացվել Է դե Հեւիլենդի անձնական աստղը:
Ֆրանսիան դերասանուհուն պարգեւատրել Է Պատվո լեգիոնի շքանշանով: Մինչդեռ բոլոր այս տարիներին նրա սիրելի զբաղմունքը եղել Է զուտ բրիտանական: Օլիվիա դե Հեւիլենդը խաչբառների կրքոտ երկրպագու Է, որոնք լուծում Է ամբողջ կյանքում, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
