ՀՀ նախագահին հավատարմագրերն է հանձնել ՀՀ-ում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավար, դեսպան Պյոտր Սվիտալսկին

ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանին սեպտեմբերի 18-ին իր հավատարմագրերն է հանձնել Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում Եվրոպական միության պատվիրակության նորանշանակ ղեկավար, դեսպան Պյոտր Սվիտալսկին։
Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, նախագահը շնորհավորել է դեսպանին պաշտոնն ստանձնելու կապակցությամբ, մաղթել հաջողություններ՝ ընդգծելով, որ Եվրոպական միության հետ համագործակցությունը Հայաստանի անկախացումից ի վեր եղել է և շարունակում է մնալ մեր երկրի արտաքին քաղաքականության առաջնային ուղղություններից մեկը: Սերժ Սարգսյանի խոսքով, Հայաստանը մեծապես կարևորում է Եվրոպական միության և նրա բոլոր կառույցների հետ համագործակցության հետագա ընդլայնումն ու խորացումը: Զրուցակիցները գոհունակությամբ են նշել, որ Հայաստան-Եվրոպական միություն հարաբերությունները զարգանում են դինամիկ, ինչը վկայում է երկկողմ քաղաքական կամքի և հանձնառության մասին։ Հանրապետության Նախագահը շեշտել է, որ Հայաստանը հաստատակամ է շարունակելու լայնածավալ բարեփոխումները, որտեղ մեծ է ԵՄ կողմից տրամադրվող շարունակական աջակցության դերը։ Սերժ Սարգսյանը ՀՀ-ԵՄ հարաբերությունների զարգացման գործում կարևորել է նաև Հայաստանում ԵՄ պատվիրակության աշխատանքը։
ՀՀ-ում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավար, դեսպան Սվիտալսկին շնորհակալություն է հայտնել բարեմաղթանքների և ՀՀ-ԵՄ հարաբերությունների զարգացման վերաբերյալ ՀՀ Նախագահի կարևոր քաղաքական ուղերձի համար, վստահեցնելով, որ իր թիմի հետ միասին կանի ամեն հնարավորը՝ մինչ աժմ իրականացված աշխատանքի հիման վրա շարունակելու ջանքերը և նոր որակի հասցնելու ՀՀ-ԵՄ հարաբերությունները։ Դեսպանն ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանը Եվրոպական միության համար կարևոր գործընկեր է, և դա ոչ միայն այն պատճառով, որ Հայաստանը Եվրոպական միության հարևանության քաղաքականության մեջ է ներգրավված, այլև օրգանապես հանդիսանում է եվրոպական ավելի լայն տարածաշրջանի մաս, և հայերը հազարամյակների ընթացքում լրջագույն ներդրում են ունեցել Եվրոպայի պատմության, քաղաքակրթության զարգացման մեջ ու կիսում են ընդհանուր արժեքներ։
ՀՀ Նախագահը և ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավարը երկուստեք կարևորել են Եվրոպական հարևանության քաղաքականության վերանայման և նորացման նախաձեռնությունը, որը Արևելյան գործընկերության Ռիգայի գագաթնաժողովում ևս ամրագրվեց տարբերակված մոտեցմամբ` կարևորելով ընդհանուր արժեքներին հավատարմությունն ու բարեփոխումների իրականացման գործում գրանցված առաջընթացը:
