Անցնող տարին նշանավորվեց հարսանեկան մի շարք հետաքրքիր իրադարձություններով, հայտնի անձանց հարսանիքներով: Ինչպես հայտնել էր ՀՀ Ազգային վիճակագրական ծառայությունը` 2016թ-ի իննը ամիսների ընթացքում ՀՀ-ում ամուսնության դեպքերը կազմել են 120088:

Էլիտար հարսանիքների տարին բացվեց Արթուր Բաղդասարյանի որդու՝ Վահանի հարսանիքով: Բաղդասարյանի որդին հունիսին նշանադրվել էր «Բելաջիո» ռեստորանի սեփականատեր, երկար ժամանակ մաքսային համակարգում աշխատած Արմեն Ստեփանյանի դստեր՝ Մերիի հետ: Հարսանիքի քավորը Ռուսաստանում հայերի միության նախագահ Արա Աբրահամյանն է: Հարսանիքը տեղի է ունեցել Դուբայում:
Ապրիլի 2-ին տեղի ունեցավ ՀՀ առաջին նախագահ Լևոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի որդու՝ Դավիթի և հայտնի հաղորդավարուհի Աննա Ավանեսյանի հարսանիքը: Զույգը երկար ժամանակ չէր հաստատում խոսակցությունները այն մասին, որ իրենք պատրաստվում են ամուսնանալ, ինչն էլ ավելի մեծ հետաքրքրություն և ուշադրություն էր հավաքում այս զույգի ամուսնության և հարսանիքի շուրջ: Եվ որքան էլ նրանք փորձեցին ամեն ինչ քողարկել, սակայն որոշ մանրամասներ և հարսանեկան լուսանկարներ, այնուամենայնիվ, հաջողվել էր գտնել:
Այս տարվա նոյեմբերի 27-ին ամուսնացավ ՀՀ Քննչական կոմիտեի նախագահ Աղվան Հովսեփյանի կրտսեր որդին՝ Միսակը: Զույգի հարսանեկան խնջույքը տեղի ունեցավ «Ֆլորենս» ռեստորանում, հրավիրված է եղել ողջ քաղաքական էլիտան՝ գործադիր, օրենսդիր, ուժային կառույցների ղեկավարներ, գործընկերներ: Թեև այս հարսանիքից էլ նկարները շատ չէին, սակայն Wedding.am-ին հաջողվել էր գտնել որոշ կադրեր և ներկայացնել իր ընթերցողին:
