Սադամ Հուսեյնի ավագ դուստր Ռագադը CNN–ին տված հարցազրույցում հույս է հայտնել, որ ԱՄՆ նորընտիր նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը կտարբերվի  նախորդ նախագահներից, հայտնում է Gazeta–ը։

«Որքանով ես եմ տեսել ու նկատել՝ այդ մարդն ունի քաղաքական զգայունության բարձր մակարդակ, ինչը լրջորեն տարբերում է նրան նրա նախորդներից։ Նա նշել է ուրիշի սխալները, մանավանդ Իրաքի հարցում, իսկ դա նշանակում է, որ նա գիտի Իրաքում կատարված սխալների մասին ու այն մասին, թե ինչ է պատահել իմ հոր հետ»,- ասել է նա։

Ռագադը նաեւ ասել է, որ երբեք չի դիտել իր հոր մահապատժի տեսագրությունը ու հրաժարվում է երբեւէ դիտել այն։ Նա նշել է, որ չնայած մանրամասների «այլանդակությանն ու ցավալիությանը» դա «ազնիվ մահ» է եղել։

Իր ելույթներում Թրամփը Հուսեյնին տարաբնույթ բնութագիր է տվել՝ ասելով, որ նա «լավ սպանում էր ահաբեկիչներին»՝  չնայած «վատ տղա էր»։ Սադդամ Հուսեյնին մահապատժի են են թարկել 2006-ի դեկտեմբերի 30-ին։
