ՀՀ Նախագահ, Հայաստանի հանրապետական կուսակցության ղեկավար Սերժ Սարգսյանը սեպտեմբերի 18-ին՝ ՀՀԿ Գործադիր մարմնի նիստից առաջ, ՀՀԿ կենտրոնական գրասենյակում ներկա է գտնվել շուրջ 250 երիտասարդներին կուսակցական տոմսերի հանձնման արարողությանը։
Շնորհավորելով երիտասարդներին' ՀՀԿ առաջնորդը կարևորել է նրանց դերը երկրի կյանքում և նշել, որ Հայաստանի ապագան ներկա գտնվող երիտասարդների ու նրանց հասակակիցների ձեռքում է: Սերժ Սարգսյանը խոսել է այժմյան երիտասարդության հաջողություններից և սահմանին կանգնած տղաների հերոսություններից ու հավելել, որ հաջողության կարելի է հասնել ակտիվ քաղաքական գործունեության, աշխատասիրության և գիտելիքների շնորհիվ: Մեր իրականության մեջ կուսակցական լինելո ւ գաղափարը խեղաթյուրվել է, ասել է Սերժ Սարգսյանը՝ ընդգծելով, որ քաղաքական այս կամ այն ուժին մարդիկ անդամագրվում են պաշտոն ստանալու համար։ «Ես վստահ եմ, որ գնալով այս բացասական մասը վերանալու է, և մարդիկ քաղաքական ուժերին անդամակցելու են, որպեսզի ապրեն շատ ավելի լավ երկրում։ Այլ ճանապարհ չկա երկիրը զարգացնելու, քան փորձել քաղաքական ուժերի միջև մրցակցության միջոցով հասնելու հաջողության»,- ասել է Նախագահը։
ՀՀԿ Երիտասարդական կազմակերպության ղեկավար, ՀՀԿ Գործադիր մարմնի անդամ Կարեն Ավագյանը նշել է, որ ամռան ընթացքում բազմաթիվ դիմումներ են ստացվել կուսակցությանն անդամակցելու համար: Սակայն անդամատոմսեր ստանում են նրանք, ովքեր տեղյակ են ՀՀԿ պատմությանը, գաղափարախոսությանն ու ծրագրերին և ցանկանում են մասնակիցը դառնալ դրանց իրականացմանը: «Բացի ընթացիկ ծրագրերից, որ իրականացնում է ՀՀԿ երիտասարդական կազմակերպությունը, կարևորվում է նաև կուսակցությունը նոր անդամներով համալրելը։ Եվ ես ուրախ եմ, որ կարողացել ենք այնպիսի կազմակերպություն ստեղծել, որը վստահություն է առաջացնում շատ երիտասարդների մոտ, ովքեր հավատում են մեզ ու ցանկանում մեզ հետ ճանապարհ անցնել»,- ասել է Կարեն Ավագյանը:
Միայն ամռան ընթացքում ՀՀԿ երիտասարդական կազմակերպությանն անդամակցել է մոտ 500 երիտասարդ։
