Մեր կայացրած որոշումներից շատերը հարցեր են առաջացնում մեզ շրջապատող մարդկանց մոտ։ Եվ նրանք, չգիտես ինչու, կարծում են, որ պետք է իրենց կարծիքն արտահայտեն եւ միջամտեն մեր գործերին։ Սակայն երբեմն այդ մարդիկ այնքան հեռուն են գնում, որ անգամ բացատրություններ են պահանջում մեր այս կամ այն քայլի համար։
1. Դուք պարտավոր չեք բոլորին բացատրություններ տալ ձեր կենսակերպի մասին՝ ապրում եք քաղաքացիական ամուսնու, թե ծնողների հետ, վարձով բնակարանում, թե ձեր սեփական եւ այլն։ Եթե դուք ապրում եք նման պայմաններում, ուրեմն ունեք ձեր պատճառները, որոնք ոչ մեկին չպետք է հետաքրքրեն։
2. Պարտավոր չեք բացատրել, թե ինչ առաջնահերթություններ ունեք կյանքում։ Դուք ունեք ձեր պատկերացումները, թե ինչն է ձեզ համար ավելի կարեւոր, ավելի հարմարավետ եւ ինչն է կարեւոր տեղ զբաղեցնում ձեր կյանքում։
3. Կարիք չկա ներողություն խնդրել, եթե չեք զղջում։ Եթե չեք ափսոսում ձեր քայլերի համար եւ կարծում եք, որ ճիշտ եք վարվել, ուրեմն պարտավոր չեք ներողություն խնդրել։
4. Պարտավոր չեք արդարանալ ձեր կրոնական եւ քաղաքական հայացքների համար։ Եթե բողոքական եք, կաթոլիկ, մահմեդական, լիբերալ կամ պահպանողական, դա ձեր ընտրությունն է։ Ոչ մեկին չպետք է բացատրություններ տաք ձեր ընտրած հավատքի կամ քաղաքական կուսակցության համար։ Դա միայն ձեզ է վերաբերում։
5.Դուք պարտավոր չեք համաձայնել ուրիշների կարծիքին։ Պետք չէ համաձայնել ինչ-որ մեկի հետ, եթե դուք չեք կիսում նրա տեսակետը։ Պետք չէ ձեւացնել, թե համակարծիք եք նրա հետ, պարզապես արտահայտեք ձեր տեսակետը։
6. Դուք «ոչ» ասելու իրավունք ունեք։ Եվ «ոչը» լիարժեք պատասխան է, որից հետո բացատրությունների կարիք չկա։ Երբ ինչ-որ բան շեղում է ձեզ ձեր նպատակներից եւ սկզբունքներից, վստահաբար մերժեք այն։
7. Դուք պարտավոր չեք արդարանալ ձեր արտաքին տեսքի համար։ Ոչ մեկին պարտավոր չեք բացատրել, թե ինչու եք գիրացել, նիհարել, գեղեցկացել եւ այլն։Ձեր արտաքին տեսքը միայն ձեզ պետք է հետաքրքրի։
8. Պարտավոր չեք պատմել, թե ինչպիսի սննդակարգ եք նախընտրում։ Եթե նույնիսկ հարցնում են, թե ինչու չեք ուտում այս կամ այն ուտեստը, կարելի է պարզապես ասել, որ այդպես ձեզ ավելի լավ եք զգում, կամ այդպես ձեզ համար ավելի նախընտրելի է։
9. Ձեր սեռական կյանքը չպետք է ոչ մեկին հետաքրքրի։ Դուք կարող եք սիրավեպ սկսել, ամուսնանալ, սիրային կապի մեջ լինել ինչ-որ մեկի հետ։ Դա բացառապես ձեր կյանքն է։
10. Կարիք չկա բացատրություններ տալ ձեր կարիերային եւ անձնական կյանքին վերաբերող որոշումների մասին։ Երբեմն մարդիկ ստիպված են լինում ընտրություն կատարել աշխատանքի եւ ընտանիքի միջեւ եւ այս որոշումն այնքան էլ հեշտ չէ կայացնել։ Բայց դա միայն ձեզ է վերաբերում եւ միայն դուք եք պատասխանատու ձեր ընտրության համար։
