Բանան ուտելուց հետո մենք սովորաբար կեղևը նետում ենք աղբարկղ: Պարզվում է, սակայն, որ այն կարելի է օգտագործել մեր կենցաղում:

1. Արծաթի փայլեցում: Արծաթին փայլ տալու համար անհրաժեշտ է բանանի կեղևը հարել բլենդերում` դրա վրա ավելացնելով ջուր: Ստացված նյութը պետք է քսել արծաթի վրա, ապա որոշ ժամանակ անց մաքրել:

2. Բանանը կարելի է օգտագործել նաև` որպես փայլեցնող-մաքրող կրեմ կոշիկների համար: Անհրաժեշտ է բանանի կեղևի սպիտակ մասով մաքրել կոշիկները, ապա կտորով սրբել դրանք:

3. Եթե ձեր մաշկի մեջ որևէ բան է մտել, ապա անհրաժեշտ է բանանի կեղևը սպիտակ մասով ֆիքսել մաշկի այդ հատվածում, այն պահել 24 ժամ: Բանանի կեղևի մեջ եղած ֆերմենտները մաշկից դուրս կհանեն այդ առարկաները, ինչպես նաև կբուժեն վնասված մասը:

4. Բանանի կեղևը կարող է նաև մեղմել այրվածքների, քերծվածքների և խայթոցների արդյունքում առաջացած ցավը: Բանանի կեղևի սպիտակ հատվածն անհրաժեշտ է ֆիքսել այրվածքի, քերծվածքի կամ խայթոցի տեղում, պահել որոշ ժամանակ: Ավելի շուտ լավացնելու համար կարելի է գործողությունը կրկնել:  

5. Դեռ վաղ ժամանակներից բանանի կեղևն օգտագործել են նաև գորտնուկների հեռացման համար: Դրա համար անհրաժեշտ է բանանի կեղևի սպիտակ մասը դնել գորտնուկի վրա և թողնել ամբողջ գիշեր:

6. Բանանի կեղևը հնարավորություն է տալիս տանելի դարձնել փսորիազի նշանները: Ցավը կարող է մեղմանալ, եթե բանանի կեղևով մաքրեք մաշկի որոշակի հատված: Այն կարող է օգնել նաև բշտիկներից ազատվելու գործում:

7. Բանանի կեղևը պարունակում է հակաօքսիդանտներ և նյութեր, որոնք սնուցում են մաշկը, թարմացնում այն: Մաշկի խոնավացման և կնճիռների վերացման համար անհրաժեշտ է կեղևի սպիտակ մասով մաքրել այն:

8. Բանանի կեղևը կարող է նաև օգտագործվել որպես պարարտանյութ` հատկապես լոլիկի, պղպեղի և վարդերի համար:

9. Բանանի կեղևը կարելի է օգտագործել նաև խոհարարության մեջ: Որպեսզի հավի միսը փափուկ և համեղ մնա, բավական է թավայի մեջ ավելացնել հասած բանանի կեղև:

10. Բանանի միջոցով կարելի է վերականգնել նաև քերծված դիսկը: Դրա համար բանանի այն մասը, որը մարդիկ ուտում են, անհրաժեշտ է քսել դիսկին: Այդ գործողությունն անհրաժեշտ է կատարել շուրջ 2 րոպե: Այնուհետև այն անհրաժեշտ է մաքրել կտորով և ապակին մաքրելու նյութով: Չորանալուց հետո դիսկը կարելի է օգտագործել:

11. Բանանի կեղևը սպիտակեցնում է նաև ատամները: Դրա համար անհրաժեշտ է ատամները լվանալ, այնուհետև երկու րոպե մաքրել դրանք բանանի կեղևով, հետո նորից լվանալ ատամները: Արդյունավետ սպիտակեցման համար անհրաժեշտ է սա կրկնել օրվա ընթացքում 1-2 անգամ:
