«Սիրելի՛ համաքաղաքացիներ,
ավարտին է մոտենում 2016 թվականը: Այն լի էր ինչպես կարևոր ծրագրերով ու ձեռքբերումներով, այնպես էլ որոշակի փորձություններով: Տարին մեզ ավելի համախմբեց ու վերահաստատեց, որ արժանավոր ժողովուրդ ենք: Այն նաև նոր հերոսներ տվեց, ու գալիք սերունդների համար հավերժացրեց նրանց անունները: Այսօր՝ տարեմուտի շեմին, իմ հարգանքի տուրքն եմ մատուցում մեր բոլոր այն հայորդիների հիշատակին, ովքեր իրենց կյանքը նվիրաբերեցին մեր երկրի խաղաղության և մեր ժողովրդի վաղվա օրվա համար:
Սիրելի՛ երևանցիներ, մայրաքաղաքի հին ու նոր բնակիչներ,
ուրախ եմ արձանագրել, որ Երևանը հերթական տարին ամփոփում է կարևոր ձեռքբերումներով: 2016 թվականի նվաճումների մեջ առանձնացան նաև այնպիսիք, որոնք տասնամյակներ շարունակ սպասված, խոշոր ծրագրեր էին: Ավարտվող տարում մենք շարունակեցինք իրականացնել հավակնոտ նախագծեր: Շահագործման հանձնվեցին նոր ճանապարհներ, բարեկարգվեցին փողոցներ, մայթեր ու բակեր, կանաչ տարածքներ՝ ձգտելով Երևանը դարձնել ավելի հարմարավետ, մատչելի ու ապահով:
Կատարված աշխատանքներում, իհարկե, մեծ էր ձեր դերը, սիրելի՛ համաքաղաքացիներ: Ակնհայտ է, որ ամենաբարդ խնդիրն անգամ լուծելի է, եթե կա վստահություն, համախմբվածություն և մեր քաղաքը ավելի լավը դարձնելու միասնական կամք: Համոզված եմ, որ 2017 թվականին, շարունակելով համատեղել մեր ջանքերը, կունենանք նոր ձեռքբերումներ՝ այսօրվա Երևանի և գալիք սերունդների համար:
Այս օրերին յուրաքանչյուր հայ օջախում շնորհավորանքի ու ջերմ բարեմաղթանքների խոսքեր են հնչում: Սիրով միանում եմ բոլոր բարեմաղթանքներին: Թո՛ղ 2017 թվականն անսպառ ջերմություն, անսահման սեր ու բարեկեցություն բերի բոլորիս օջախներին: Թո՛ղ, որ գալիք տարին խաղաղության, համերաշխության, վերելքի և բարօրության տարի լինի մեր երկրի ու մեր սիրելի մայրաքաղաքի համար:
