Հայաստանի հյուսիս-արևելքում,- շարունակում է հեղինակը,- տեղակայված ևս մեկ շրջան՝ Լոռին, հայտնի է ընդարձակ լեռնաշղթաներով, խորը կիրճերով, գետերով և լճերով։ «Լոռվա մարզը պատմական տեսանկյունից նվազ հետաքրքիր չէ, քանի որ այն ժամանակին եղել է Զաքարյանների իշխանական տոհմի ժառանգական կալվածքը։
Այդ հրաշալի մարզում կարելի է ուսումնասիրել բյուզանդական ճարտարապետության զարմանալի նմուշներ, Հաղպատ և Սանահին եկեղեցիերը, որոնք ներառված են ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի Համաշխարհային ժառանգության ցանկում։ Նաև շատ հետաքրքիր է Պուշկինյան լեռնանցքը, որտեղով 1828 թվականին ճանապարհորդել է Ալեքսանդր Պուշկինը, ռուս ամենահայտնի և սիրելի բանաստեղծը»,- նշում է Բրամ Ռոյսենը։
