Հեմոգլոբինը մարդու օրգանիզմում բավականին կարևոր տարր է: Եթե նրա մակարդակը շատ ցածր է, ապա հյուսվածքներն ու ներքին օրգանները 1-ին հերթին կսկսեն տառապել թթվածնի դեֆիցիտից: Նման դեպքում մարդու մոտ, ինչպես նշում են բժիշկներն, առաջանում է անեմիա կամ սակավարյունությունը:
Որպես կանոն, բժիշկները հեմոգլոբինի ցածր մակարդակով հիվանդներին դուրս են գրում որևէ դեղամիջոց, որը օգնում է արագ հաղթահարել այդ խնդիրը: Իրականում հեմոգլոբինը հնարավոր է բարձրացնել նաև տնային պայմաններում, առանց թանկարժեք միջոցների դիմելու:
Որպեսզի հնարավոր լինի բարձրացնել հեմոգլոբինը, հարկավոր է ընդամենը սննդակարգում օգտագործել որոշ մթերքներ: Դրանցից են՝ թեփը, ցորենի շիլան, ծիրանը, ծիրանի չիրը, դառ շոկոլադը, կանաչ խնձորը, ցորենի հացը, կարմիր խաղողը, ճակնդեղը, լոբին, նուշը, նուռը, սալորի հյութը, սալորը, չամիչը, ոլոռը, լոլիկի հյութը, բրյուսելյան կաղամբը, բրոկկոլին, գետնանուշի յուղը, վարսակը, արքայախնձորը(այդ թվում նաև պահածոյացված):
Հենց այս մթերքներն էլ պարունակում են մեծ քանակությամբ երկաթ, որը բարձրացնում է հոմոգլոբինի մակարդակը:
