Սերբիայի ինը մունիցիպալիտետներում արտակարգ դրության ռեժիմ Է հայտարարվել ձյան տեղումների եւ սառնամանիքների պատճառով, երկրի ամբողջ տարածքում հայտարարվել Է վտանգի կարմիր մակարդակ (հինգ մակարդակներից  բարձրագույնը), փրկարարները 120 մարդ են տարահանել ձնահյուսերով արգելափակված բնակավայրերից: Հունվարի 9-ին այս մասին ՌՏՍ1+1 հեռուստաալիքի եթերում հայտնել Է երկրի ՆԳ նախարարության Արտակարգ իրավիճակների սեկտորի պետի տեղակալ Բոբան Ստեվանովիչը, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը :    
«Ներքգործնախարարության Արտակարգ իրավիճակների սեկտորի մասնագետներն այս պահին տարահանել են 120 մարդու եւ ավելի քան 70 ավտոմեքենա, ինը մունիցիպալիտետներում արտակարգ իրադրության ռեժիմ Է հայտարարված»,- ասել Է նա: 
Սերբիայի ամբողջ տարածքում պահպանվում են Ցելիսուսի մինուս 8-ից մինչեւ մինուս 25 աստիճան սառնամանիքները, որոնք տեղական զանգվածային լրատվամիջոցներն անվանում են «սիբիրյան», հիմնական ջրուղիներում՝ Դանուբում եւ Սավայում, նավարկությունը սառցակալման պատճառով դադարեցված Է:   
Ամենաբարդ իրադրությունը պահպանվում Է Սերբիայի հարավում, որտեղ լեռնային շրջաններում ձյունն արգելափակել Է կիրճերի ճանապարհները, շուրջ 100 բնակավայր կտրված Է արտաքին աշխարհից: Հունվարի 9-ի գիշերը տարվա ընթացքում ձյան երկրորդ տեղումները ծածկել են նաեւ երկրի մայրաքաղաքը, Բելգրադի փողոցներում աշխատում Է 110 միավոր հատուկ տեխնիկա, երթեւեկությունը դժվարացած Է, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
