29-летняя Куин Нонйерем Окафор (Queen Nonyerem Okafor) известна, как самая волосатая женщина Нигерии — и клянется, что никогда не избавится от лишних волос на груди и лице.

Куин, родом из города Nneobi-Nnewi на юго-востоке Нигерии, появилась на свет без излишней волосатости — однако в возрасте 21 год её внешний вид начал резко меняться.

Но волосы на лице и груди не помешали Окафор в личной жизни — ведь девушка уже помолвлена, заставив тем самым замолчать скептиков, говоривших, что из-за волос на теле парни будут обходить её десятой дорогой.

Сейчас Куин живет в западной части Лагоса, пытаясь пробиться в киноиндустрию Нигерии.

В то же время, никто не знает, насколько длинными могли бы быть её волосы, ведь, по словам Окафор, она постоянно их подрезает.

Куин говорит, что все попытки избавления от волос привели к их ещё более энергичному росту — но врачи не смогли найти никаких доказательств гормонального дисбаланса.

При этом в интервью африканском развлекательному каналу Ebony Life TV Окафор рассказала: «Я люблю показывать свое лицо…, чтобы быть замеченной. Я хочу, чтобы весь мир знал об этом».

«[Некоторые из моих родственников] хотят, чтобы я избавилась от волос, но я сейчас взрослая. Я не всегда делаю то, что говорят люди, я знаю, чего хочу в жизни».
