Սերժ Սարգսյանը նախաձեռնել է սահմանադրական փոփոխությունները, քանի որ վստահ չէ, որ իրեն չեն խաբի այնպես, ինչպես ինքն ու Քոչարյանը խաբել են Լևոն Տեր- Պետրոսյանին, ապա՝ ինքը՝Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանին: Այսօր այս մասին Երիտասարդական սոցիալական ֆորումի ընթացքում սահմանադրական փոփոխությունների վերաբերյալ քննարկման ժամանակ ասաց «Ժառանգություն» կուսակցության անդամ Հովսեփ Խուրշուդյանը:

Նա նշեց, որ այսօր Սերժ Սարգսյանը, ի տարբերություն Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի, որը ևս իր կառավարման վերջին տարիներին նախաձեռնել էր սահմանդրական փոփոխություններ, չունի խորհրդարանում մեծամասնություն ձևավորելու խնդիր:

«Ինքն այդ մեծամասնությունն արդեն ունի և միակ խնդիրը, որ նա այսօր ունի, Սահմանադրությունն իր ուզած տարբերակով անցկացնելն է, որպեսզի իշխանությունը նախագահականից տեղափոխվի մի այլ տեղ, որտեղ ինքը կկարողանա շարունակել ղեկավարել»,- ասաց Խուրշուդյանը:

Նա նշեց, որ որևէ բանավոր երաշխիք, որևէ ընկերական հարաբերություն կամ խոստում իշխանական վերնախավում չի գործում, հետևաբար, Սերժ Սարգսյանը չի կարող առանց իր իշխանությունն ապահովելու համար փոփոխություններ կատարելու ավարտել իր պաշտոնավարման ժամկետը:

«Այս Սահմանադրությամբ որևէ երաշխիք չկա, որ ինքն ընտրություններից հետո չի հայտնվի քաղաքական լուսանցքում, ինչպես նաև չի կանգնի այնպիսի խնդրի առաջ, որ իր թիմակիցները, իր կլանի անդամներն այնպես կորցնեն իրենց ունեցվածքը, ինչպես դա տեղի ունեցավ 2008 թվականից հետո, երբ Սերժ Սարգսյանը եկավ իշխանության»,- ասաց Խուրշուդյանը՝ ևս մեկ անգամ փաստելով, որ սահմանադրական փոփոխությունները Սերժ Սարգսյանի համա կենսական խնդիր է։
