Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության պայմանավորվածությունը ուժի մեջ է մտել տնտեսական առումով շատ անհարմար ժամանակաշրջանում: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` այս մասին հունվարի 16-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ նշեց  ԵԱՏՄ ինստիտուտի տնօրեն ՎլադիմիրԼեպեխինը: Նրա ներկ այացմամբ` այդ ընթացքում Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ պատժամիջոցներ կիրառվեցին, նավթի գների նվազում և ռուբլու անկում եղավ: Այդ պատճառով Ռուսաստանի ֆինանսական մուտքերը կրճատվեցին, և այս հանգամանքը, բնականաբար, ազդեց նաև ԵԱՏՄ անդամ երկրների վրա: «Մենք ցանկանում ենք անհապաղ արդյունքներ, սակայն դրանք միանգամից լինել չեն կարող: Եթե խոսենք ԵԱՏՄ հեռանկարների մասին, ապա շատ բաներ են գրավադրված: Սկսենք նրանից, որ ԵԱՏՄ տնտեսական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ նշանակվեց Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչը: Շատ փորձագետներ նշում են, որ հանձնաժողովի նախագահի պաշտոնու մ Տիգրան Սարգսյանի դերը կայանում է նրանում, որպեսզի ԵԱՏՄ-ն   նախապատրաստի ապագայում արժույթային միության ձևավորմանը, որը ԵԱՏՄ-ին զարգացման ավելի բարձր մակարդակ կապահովի: Հասկանալի է, որ արժույթային միություն ձևավորելու համար պետք են հարյուրավոր միջոցառումներ»,- ասաց ԵԱՏՄ ինստիտուտի տնօրենը:

Փորձագետի խոսքով` որոշ մարդիկ ենթադրում էին, որ 2015 թվականին ձևավորված ԵԱՏՄ-ն միասնական արժույթ կունենա 50 տարի հետո, սակայն պարզ է, որ գործողություններն ավելի արագ են ընթանում, և պլանավորված է, որ այն կլինի 10 տարի անց: Լեպեխինի դիտարկմամբ, աշխատանքի ծավալներն ահռելի են, և մեկ տարի հետո ոչ մի բան միանգամից չի փոխվելու: Այս ընթացքում ընդունվել, հաստատվել և ձևավորվել են բազմաթիվ փաստաթղթեր:

Նա նաև հավելեց, որ ԵԱՏՄ անդամ առանձին որոշ երկրներում առևտրաշրջանառության ծավալները պակասել են ոչ թե այն պատճառով, որ նրանք անդամակցել են Միությանը, այլ այն պատճառով, որ ամբողջ աշխարհում տնտեսական իրավիճակն է այդպիսին:
