Ապրիլյան պատերազմում զոհված ավագ լեյտենանտ Մերուժան Ստեփանյանն այսօր կդառնար 24 տարեկան

Ապրիլյան պատերազմում զոհված ավագ լեյտենանտ Մերուժան Ստեփանյանի ծննդյան օրն է այսօր: Մերուժանը կդառնար 24 տարեկան:
Մերուժանը ծնվել է 1993 թվականին: Վազգեն Սարգսյանի անվան ռազմական ինստիտուտն ավարտելուց հետո պայմանագրային զինվորական ծառայության էր անցել Թալիշի զորամասում:
Ավագ լեյտենանտը հերոսաբար զոհվել է Թալիշի մարտական դիրքերից մեկում: Ծնողները վերջին անգամ Մերուժանի հետ խոսել են ապրիլի 2-ի առավոտյան։
«Վերջին անգամ որդուս հետ խոսել եմ ապրիլի 2-ին: Ասաց՝ մա՛մ, դու քեզ լավ նայի՛ր ու էլ չզանգես ինձ, մարտական հերթապահության եմ»,- պատմել է հերոսի մայրը:
Մերուժան Ստեփանյանը զոհվեց մարտում, նրա հետ զոհվեցին նաև նույն դիրքը պահող Ռաֆիկ Հակոբյանը,Վիկտոր Յուզիխովիչն ու Աղասի Ասատրյանը։
Մերուժան Ստեփանյանը, Ռաֆիկ Հակոբյանը, Աղասի Ասատրյանն ու Վիկտոր Յազուխովիչը հետմահու պարգևատրվել են «Մարտական խաչ» 1-ին աստիճանի շքանշանով։
20-ամյա ժամկետային զինծառայող Հրայր Բաղդասարյանը Panorama.am-ին պատմել է. «Հարձակվեցին ծանր զենքերով: Ապրիլի 1-ի լույս 2-ի գիշերը տեսասարքի էկրանին դեպի մեր դիրքերը շարժվող մարդիկ երևացին: Դիրքավորվեցինք, սկսեցինք կրակել, նրանք փախան՝ մարտադաշտում թողնելով երեք դիակ: Հաջորդ օրն ավելի մեծ խմբով հարձակվեցին: Ականանետներով կրակում էին, մինչև վերջ պայքարել ենք: Դիրքում 9 հոգով էինք, 4-ը՝ դասակի հրամանատար, ավագ-լեյտենանտ Մերուժան Ստեփանյանը, զինծառայողներ Ռաֆիկ Հակոբյանը, Աղասի Ասատրյանը, Վիկտոր Յուզիխովիչը զոհվեցին: Ես ծանր վիրավորվեցի, չէի կարողանում քայլել, գլորվելով իջա ձորը ու սկսեցի սողալով առաջանալ, հարևան դիրքի մոտ մի զինվոր ու սպա օգնության հասան…»:
Գյումրու Մուշ թաղամասում, որ ապրել էր քառօրյա պատերազմի հերոս Մերուժան Արթուրի Ստեփանյանը, բացվել է ցայտաղբյուր և հուշատախտակ:
Նշենք, որ ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմի ժամանակ զոհված զինծառայողներից 7-ը Գյումրիից էին: Հայրենիքի սահմանների պաշտպանության համար Արցախում հերոսաբար զոհված քաջ տղաներն էին` Վլադիմիր Մելքոնյան, Մերուժան Ստեփանյան, Ալեքսան Առաքելյան, Վիկտոր Յուզիխովիչ, Հրաչ Գալստյան, Գևորգ Վարդանյան, Տիգրան Աբգարյան:
