Լեգենդար բռնցքամարտիկ Մուհամեդ Ալին այսօր կդառնար 75 տարեկան

Համաշխարհային սպորտի լեգենդ, բռնցքամարտի պատմության լավագույն մարզիկներից մեկը` Մուհամեդ Ալին, այսօր կդառնար 75 տարեկան:
«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` Ալին 1960 թվականին դարձավ 17-րդ ամառային Օլիմպիական խաղերի չեմպիոն թեթև ծանրքաշային կարգում: Ծանր քաշային կարգում աշխարհի բացարձակ չեմպիոն էր (1964-1966, 1974-1978), 5 անգամ արժանացել է «Տարվա բռնցքամարտիկ» տիտղոսին (1963, 1972, 1974, 1975, 1978), ըստ The Ring ամսագրի՝ «Տասնամյակի բռնցքամարտիկ» (1970-ականներ), պատմության մեջ 2-րդ բռնցքամարտիկը, ով Sports Illustrated ամասագրի կողմից արժանացել է «Տարվա մարզիկ» կոչմանը։ Կարիերայի ավարտին ընդգրկվել է Բռնցքամարտի փառքի սրահում (1987) և Բռնցքամարտի միջաÕ �գային փառքի սրահում (1990)։
Կասիուս Քլեյ 1964 թվականի փետրվարի 25-ին մրցամարտում հաղթելուց հետո՝ միանում է Դետրոյթում ստեղծված «Իսլամի ազգ» կրոնական շարժմանը, 1975 թվականին դառնում է Սուննի մուսուլման և փոխում է անունը Կասիուս Իքսից դառնալով Մուհամեդ Ալի:
1984 թվականի սեպտեմբերին Ալին հոսպիտալացվեց լսողության, խոսքի և օրգանիզմի շարժիչ գործառույթների վատթարացման պատճառով։ Մուհամմեդը տեղավորվեց Նյու Յորքի պրեսբիտերական հիվանդանոցում, բոլոր հետազոտություններից հետո բժիշկներն եկան այն եզրակացության, որ նա տառապում է Պարկինսոնի հիվանդությամբ:
2016 թվականի հունիսի 2-ին Մուհամմեդ Ալին հոսպիտալացվեց Ֆինիքսի հիվանդանոցներից մեկում՝ կապված առողջության վատթարացումով՝ թոքերի խնդիրներով։ 2016 թվականի հունիսի 3-ին կանքից հեռացավ բռնցքամարտի պատմության լավագույն մարզիկներից մեկը` Մուհամեդ Ալին:
