Այսօր` հունվարի 18-ին, ողբերգական դեպք է տեղի ունեցել Երևանում: Ժամը 01:10-ի սահմաններում, Երևանի 1-03 շտապօգնության հերթապահ խումբը ահազանգել է ոստիկանության Երևան քաղաքի վարչության օպերատիվ կառավարման կենտրոն և հայտնել, որ կանչով մեկնել է Ազատության պողոտա 11ա շենք, որտեղ բակում հայտնաբերել են տղամարդու դի:
Ինչպես հայտնում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, դեպքի վայր է ժամանել ոստիկանության Արաբկիրի բաժնի օպերատիվ խումբը` բաժնի պետ Արթուր Մկրտչյանի գլխավորությամբ:
Դեպքի մասին ոստիկանության Արաբկիրի բաժնից տեղեկությունը փոխանցել են Հայաստանի քննչական կոմիտեի Արաբկիրի քննչական բաժին, որտեղից դեպքի վայր է ժամանում քննչական խումբը:
Այս պահին տեղում աշխատում են նաև ոստիկանության Արաբկիրի բաժնի քրեական հետախուզության բաժանմունքի աշխատակիցները` բաժանմունքի տեղակալ Գարիկ Հովանյանի գլխավորությամբ:
Ոստիկանությունը պարզել է, որ մահացածը հանդիսանում է Տավուշի մարզի բնակիչ, 34-ամյա Դավիթ Մելքումյանը, ով` ըստ նախնական տեղեկությունների, 12-րդ հարկից ինքնասպանություն գործելով, իրեն ցած է նետել:
