Հռոմի Սուրբ Վլասի հայկական եկեղեցում նշվել է ՀՀ անկախության 24-րդ տարեդարձը

Հռոմի Սուրբ Վլասի անունը կրող եկեղեցում սեպտեմբերի 21-ին նշվել է Հայաստանի անկախության 24-րդ տարեդարձը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է Ռադիո Վատիկանը, ՀՀ անկախության տարեդարձը նշվել է Վատիկանում ՀՀ դեսպանության հովանավորությամբ:
Տոնական արարողությունը մեկնարկել է Արևելյան եկեղեցիների ժողովի կառավարիչ Լեոնարդո Սանտրիի մատուցած պատարագով: Միջոցառմանը մասնակցել են Վատիկանում հավատարմագրված այլ դեսպանությունների ներկայացուցիչներ, կղերականներ, ինչպես նաև հայ և օտարազգի այլ հավատացյալներ:
Իր ելույթում Կարդինալ Սանտրին խոսել է հայ ազգի նկատմամբ Աստծո ողորմածության մասին, քանի որ հենց հայ ազգին է շնորհվել քրիստոնեությունն ընդունելու պարգևը: «Հիշել ազգային տոնը, նշանակում է գոհություն մատուցել Տիրոջը խաղաղության, արժանավորության, և ժողովուրդների զարգացմանը ծառայելու համար, որոնք Սուրբ Աթոռի և Հայաստանի Հանրապետության միջև 1992թ. հաստատված դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հիմքն են»,- ասել է Կարդինելը՝ հիշելով ու կարևորելով Հռոմի Հովհաննես Պողոս Երկրորդ պապի այցը Հայաստան, ինչպես նաև 2015թ. Ֆրանցիսկոս պապի՝ Վատիկանում մատուցած պատարագը՝ նվիրված Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին:
Կարդինալը նաև շնորհակալություն է հայտնել բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր իրենց ներդրումն են ունեցել Հայաստանի և Վատիկանի միջև դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների ամրապնդման գործում: «Մենք ցանկանում ենք լինել ժառանգորդները և վկաներն այն բանի, որ սուրբ Աթոռի և Հայաստանի միջև բարեկամությունը շարունակվի ու պարգև դառնա Կովկասին, Միջին Արևելքին, ամբողջ աշխարհին»,- ասել է Սանտրին՝ հավելելով, որ մոտակա օրերին պետք է մեկնի Հայաստան՝ որպես Հռոմի Ֆրանցիսկոս պապի պատգամավոր, իր մասնակցությունը բերելու Էջմիածնում տեղի ունեցող Մյուռոնօրհնեքի արարողությանը, ինչպես նաև Սրբոց Նահատակաց կաթողիկե աթոռանիստ եկեղեցու օծման արարողությանը, որը պիտի տեղի ունենա ապրիլի 24-ին:
