«Քաղաքացիները հանուն պատասխանատվության ու էթիկայի» ՀԿ-ն դատի է տվել ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփին, քանի որ համարում է, որ Թրամփը այլ պետությունների կառավարություններից ստանում է վճարներ, որոնք արգելված են սահմանադրությամբ, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

«Հայցում նշված է , որ Թրամփը խախտել է ԱՄՆ սահմանադրությունը երդմնակալության պահին, քանի որ չէր հրաժարվել իր հիմնած Trump Organisation կազմակերպությունում բիզնես շահերից։ Մասնավորապես այլ երկրների կառավարությունները Թրամփին պատկանող Trump Tower երկնաքերում տարածքներ են վարձակալում, համարներ՝ նրան պատկանող Old Post Office հյուրանոցում, իսկ այլ պետությունների պատկանող հեռարձակող ընկերություններից վճարներ է ստանում Apprentice շոուի ցուցադրության համար»,- ասվում է NBC-ի ռեպորտաժում։

«Սա պատմության մեջ առաջին դեպքն է, երբ նախագահը այսաստիճան զգալի վճարներ է ստանում այլ պետություններից,- մեջբերել է «Ասոշիեյթիդ փրես» գործակալությունը ՀԿ-ի գործադիր տնօրեն Ռոյ Բուկբայնդերի խոսքը,- Մի շարք հարցեր կան, որոնք դատարանում առաջին անգամ պետք է քննվեն»։

Նորման Էյզները , որը կազմակերպոթյան ղեկավարության անդամ է, CNN -ին տված հարցազրույցում ասել է, որ Թրամփի ֆինանսական կապերը կարող են «ազդել նրա որոշումների վրա ՝ մասնավորապես առեւտրային համաձայնագրերի կնքման հարցերում»։

Սպիտակ տան ռազմավարական կապերի վարչության տնօրեն Հոուլ Հիքսը շեշտել է, որ նախագահը «շահերի բախում չունի» ու հիշեցրել, որ նա իր պաշտոնավարության ընթացքում մտադիր է հեռանալ բիզնեսից, ինչի մասին հայտնել էր հունվարի կեսերին կայացած մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ։ Թրամփը հայտնել էր, որ իրեն պատկանող ընկերությունների կառավարումը հանձնում է որդիներին՝ Էրիկին ու Դոնալդին։
