«Ժողովուրդ»-ը շարունակում է «պեղել» հայ հանրության շրջանում ճանաչում վայելող հայտնիների, որոնք ժամանակին հաճախ էին երեւում էկրաններին, սակայն տեւական ժամանակ է, կարծես, անհետացել են: Այս անգամ մեր թիրախում հայտնվել է հեռուստահաղորդավար Մամիկոն Սիմոնյանը: Հետաքրքրվել ենք` որտեղ է նա այժմ բնակվում, ինչով է զբաղված եւ արդյոք կապ ունի հեռուստատեսային աշխատանքի հետ. «Հիմա Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունում եմ, հիմնականում` Մոսկվայում: Աշխատում եմ մարքետինգի եւ փիարի ոլորտում, նաեւ սովորում եմ: Հեռուստատեսային աշխատանքով հիմա չեմ զբաղվում, բայց ոլորտին մոտ եմ եւ հնարավորություն ունեմ ուսումնասիրելու ռուսական մեդիա ոլորտը, հատկապես հեռուստատեսային ու գովազդային շուկան»,-պատասխանեց Մամիկոնը: Հարցին, թե Հայաստանին առնչվող ինչ պլաններ ունի եւ երբ է վերջին անգամ այցելել հայրենիք, հաղորդավարը պատասխանեց. «Հայաստանը շարունակում է մնալ իմ տունը, հայրենիքը` անկախ գտնվելուս վայրից: Պլաններ շատ ունեմ, բայց դրանց մասին հիմա չեմ խոսի: Վերջին անգամ Երեւանում եղել եմ ամանորյա տոնական օրերին, որոնք անցկացրել եմ երեխայիս, ծնողներիս, հարազատներիս հետ»:
