 Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հայտարարել է, որ որևէ խնդիր չի տեսնում երկրում սահմանադրական փոփոխությունների հանրաքվեի անցկացումն արտակարգ դրության պայմաններում: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին հայտնում է թուրքական Diken լրատվամիջոցը:

«Մենք շարունակելու ենք մեր ճանապարհը մինչև արդյունքի հասցնելը: Արտակարգ դրությունը դրա համար շատ ավելի հարմար հող կարող է նախապատրաստել»,- ասել է նա: Էրդողանը մերժել է բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր հայտարարում են, որ Սահմանադրական հանրաքվեն չի կարող անցկացվել, քանի երկրում հայտարարված է արտակարգ դրություն: «Նախքան մեր իշխանության գալը Թուրքիայում արտակարգ դրություն էր: Ընտրություններն անց են կացվել այդ պայմաններում: Արտակարգ դրությունը հանեցինք իշխանության գալուց հետո»,- նշել է նա:

Թուրքիայի մեջլիսը հավանություն է տվել իշխող «Արդարություն և զարգացում» կուսակցության (AKP) կողմից առաջարկված սահմանադրական փոփոխություններին, որոնք բաղկացած են 18 կետից: Սահմանադրական փոփոխություններով երկիրն անցնում է կառավարման նախագահական համակարգի:

Մեջլիսում փոփոխությունների առաջարկի անցկացումը հնարավոր է եղել միայն ընդդիմադիր «Ազգայնական շարժում» կուսակցության աջակցության շնորհիվ:

Խորհրդարանի կողմից հաստատումից հետո փաստաթուղթը պետք է ստորագրի երկրի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը, ինչից հետո այն կդրվի հանրաքվեի:Հանրաքվեն նախատեսվում է իրականացնել ապրիլի առաջին կեսին:
