Գերմանիայի բնակչությունը 2012 թվականից կրկին աճում Է, առաջին հերթին՝ միգրանտների հաշվին. Destatis դաշնային վիճակագրական գերատեսչության գնահատմամբ, 2016 թվականի վերջի դրությամբ երկրում ապրում Էր 82,8 մլն մարդ, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
«2016 թվականին ծնված երեխաների թիվը փոքր-ինչ ավելացել Է, մահերի թիվը՝ փոքր-ինչ նվազել… 2016 թվականին արտասահմանից ժամանածների սալդոն, ինչպես սպասվում Է, կկազմի առնվազն պլյուս 750 հազար»,-ասված Է գերատեսչության հաղորդագրության մեջ, որն ստացել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
 Դրա հետ մեկտեղ այսպես կոչված միգրացիոն սալդոն 2016 թվականին զգալիորեն բարձր կլինի ռեկորդային ցուցանիշներից եւ կկազմի շուրջ 1,1 միլիոն: Համանման թիվ նշվել Էր միայն 1992 թվականին՝ Գերմանիայի միավորվելուց անմիջապես հետո. այն ժամանակ երկիր Էր ժամանել 782 հազար մարդ:
