Human Rights Watch-ը պահանջում է Ադրբեջանում «Նարդարանի գործով» դատապարտվածներին ազատել

Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունները պետք է ազատեն 18 մարդկանց, այդ թվում՝ ընդդիմադիր ականավոր տեսաբանին եւ ակտիվիստին, որոնք հունվարի 25-ին հանիրավի երկար ժամկետներով ազատազրկման են դատապարտվել, նշված է Human Rights Watch իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպության հայտարարության մեջ, հայտնում է contact.az-ը:
«Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունները պետք է հետաքննեն դատապարտյալների խոշտանգումների մասին հայտարարությունները»,- ասել է HRW-ի փոխտնօրեն Ջեյն Բյուքենենը: «Կեղծ ապացույցների եւ խոշտանգումների վրա հիմնված դատավճիռները մարդու հիմնարար իրավունքների խախտում է: Իշխանությունները պետք է գործեն ստանձնած միջազգային պարտավորություններին համապատասխան, չեղարկեն դատավճիռները եւ կալանավորվածներին ազատեն»,- նշել է նա:
Հիշեցնենք, որ դատավարության ժամանակ փաստաբանները պնդել են, որ կալանավորներին դաժանաբար ծեծել են եւ խոշտանգել ՆԳՆ Կազմակերպված հանցավորության դեմ պայքարի վարչությունում: Մինչ այդ Նարդարանից Բաքու տեղափոխելիս նրանց ավտոմեքենայի մեջ ծեծել են ինքնաձիգի կոթով, մահակներով եւ ոտքերով, իսկ վարչությունում էլեկտրահարել են, սպառնացել իրենց ներկայությամբ բռնաբարել նրանց կանանց եւ քույրերին: Նրանց փորձել են ստիպել ընդունել հանցագործությունների կատարումը եւ ցուցմունքներ տալ մյուսների դեմ:
ՆԳՆ աշխատակիցները դատապարտվածներից Բաղիրզադեին մեկ ամսից ավելի թույլ չեն տվել փաստաբանին տեսակցել: Մյուս կալանավորվածներից ոչ մեկը գրեթե 8 ամիս՝ մինչեւ 2016-ի հուլիսին դատավարության մեկնարկը փաստաբան չի ունեցել: Բաղիրզադեն դատապարտվել է 20 տարի ժամկետով ազատազրկման՝ ահաբեկչության, իշխանությունը բռնի զավթելու փորձի, ապօրինի զենք պահելու եւ սպանության մեղադրանքներով: Մյուս 17 դատապարտյալները տարբեր մեղադրանքներով դատապարտվել են 10-ից մինչեւ 20 տարի ժամկետներով ազատազրկման:
