Դերասան Խորեն Լևոնյանը ՀՀ Վաստակավոր արտիստի կոչում է ստացել։ Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք Հայաստանի հանրապետության նախագահի պաշտոնական կայքից, որտեղ տեղադրված է հրամանագիրը։
33-ամյա դերասանը դեռ մանկուց իր պապի՝ ՀՀ Ժողովրդական արտիստ Խորեն Աբրահամյանի հետ խաղացել է մի շարք ներկայացումներում` Պ. Ջակոմետտիի «Ոճրագործի ընտանիքը», Խ.Դաշտենցի «Ռանչպարների կանչը», Հ.Իբսենի «Դոկտոր Ստոկման», Գ.Գորինի «Քին» և այլն:
2001 թվականին նա ընդունվել է Երևանի թատրոնի և կինոյի պետական ինստիտուտի դերասանական ֆակուլտետ, ինչպես նաև՝ աշխատանքի է անցել Հայաստանի հանրային հեռուստաընկերությունում` որպես ֆիլմերի կրկնօրինակող։
2006 թվականին Խորենը խաղացել է «Մեծ պատմություն փոքր քաղաքում» ֆիլմում։ 2007-ին էկրան բարձրացավ նրա մասնակցությամբ «Մի վախեցիր» ֆիլմը, որը մեծ հաջողություն բերեց դերասանին։ Այնուհետև նա հանդես է եկել «Ոչինչ չի մնա», «Սպանված աղավնի», «Տաքսի, էլի լավ ա», «Խաչագողի հիշատակարան», «Համերկրացի», «Հինգ հարսնացու», «Գարեգին Նժդեհ», «Իմ սրտի տնակը» և այլ ֆիլմերում: Խորենը խաղացել է նաև ռուսական արտադրության ֆիլմերում։
Խորենը հանդես է գալիս նաև որպես հաղորդավար։ 2009 թվականից վարում է «Երգ երգոց» երաժշտական հաղորդաշարը։
2013թվականին դերասանն արժանացել է հայկական «Հայակ» ազգային կինոյի մրցանակաբաշխության «Երկրորդական դերի լավագույն դերասան» մրցանակին` «Գարեգին Նժդեհ» ֆիլմի համար և ՀՀ «Մովսես Խորենացի» շքանշանի:
