Կանադայի ու Մեծ Բրիտանիայի վարչապետներն արձագանքել են ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի կողմից միգրացիոն օրենդրության խստացմանը։ Կանադայի վարչապետ Ջասթին Թրյուդոն խոստացել է ընդունել բոլոր նրանց, ում Թրամփի նոր որոշման համաձայն կարգելել ԱՄՆ տարածքում գտնվել, փոխանցում է DW–ն։

 «Կանադան կընդունի նրանց, ովքեր փրկվում են հետապնդումներից, ահաբեկչությունից ու պատերազմից՝ անկախ նրանց կրոնական պատկանելիությունից։ Մեր ուժը բազմազանությունն է»,- գրել է Թրյուդոն իր Twitter–ում։ Նա նաեւ հրապարակել է մի սիրիացի աղջկա լուսանկար, որին ողջունում է Տորոնտոյի միջազգային օդանավակայանում։

Բրիտանիայի վարչապետ Թերեզա Մեյը, որը հունվարի 27-ին Վաշինգթոնում հանդիպել է Թրամփի հետ, իր հերթին քննադատել է Թրամփի նախաձեռնությունը։ Բայց նրա տարածած հայտարարությունը զուսպ ու հավասարակշռված է։ «ԱՄՆ իմիգրացիոն քաղաքականությունն ամերիկյան կառավարության գործն է։ Այդուհանդերձ, մենք համաձայն չենք նման մոտեցմանը ու ինքներս երբեք չենք հետեւի դրան»։ «Մենք ուսումնասիրում ենք նոր նախագահական հրամանը, որպեսզի հասկանանք, թե ինչ է այն նախատեսում ու որոնք են դրա իրավական հետեւանքները՝ մանավանդ բրիտանական հպատակների նկատմամբ» ,- նշված է Մեյի հայտարարության մեջ։

Թրամփի հրամանագրով առաջիկա 90 օրերին ԱՄՆ մուտքը դադարեցվելու է Իրանի, Իրաքի, Լիբիայի, Սիրիայի, Սոմալիի, Սուդանի ու Եմենի քաղաքացիների համար։ Արգելքը անդրադառնալու է գրին քարտ ունեցողների վրա, ճշգրտել է Ներքին գործերի ամերիկյան նախարարության ներկայացուցիչ Ջիլիան Քրիստենսենը։
