Նյու Յորքը պատրաստ Է ընդունել ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի բարձրաստիճան հյուրերին

Նյու Յորքը պատրաստվում Է ընդունել պետությունների ու կառավարությունների տասնյակ ղեկավարների, արտաքին գործերի նախարարների, որոնք մասնակցելու են ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի (ԳԱ) 70-րդ հոբելյանական նստաշրջանի շրջանակներում անցկացվելիք միջոցառումներին, այդ թվում նաեւ բարձր մակարդակի նստաշրջանին, որն ավանդաբար ԳԱ-ի ամենագլխավոր իրադարձությունն Է, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
Սպասվում Է, որ կայուն զարգացման նպատակներին նվիրված գագաթնաժողովին, որը ՄԱԿ-ի ԳԱ-ի շրջանակներում կանցկացվի սեպտեմբերի 25-ից մինչեւ 27-ը, ներկա կլինեն պետությունների ու կառավարությունների 154 ղեկավարներ եւ 30 նախարարներ: Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի ընդհանուր քաղաքական քննարկումներին, որոնք կանցկացվեն սեպտեմբերի 28-ից մինչեւ հոկտեմբերի 3-ը եւ հոկտեմբերի 5-6-ին, սպասվում Է պետությունների ու կառավարությունների 144 ղեկավարների եւ 46 նախարարների ժամանումը:
Հոբելյանական նստաշրջանի պաշտոնական բացումը տեղի Է ունեցել սեպտեմբերի 15-ին: Առաջիկա տարվա ընթացքում Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի նիստերում կքննարկվի շուրջ 170 հարց:
Նյու Յորքի անվտանգության ծառայությունները բարձր պատրաստության վիճակի են բերվել ոչ միայն առաջիկա բարձր մակարդակի նստաշրջանի կապակցությամբ, այլեւ Հռոմի պապի այցի առնչությամբ, որը քաղաքում սկսվելու Է սեպտեմբերի 24-ից: Անվտանգության ծառայություններն արդեն հայտարարել են, որ դա «անվտանգության ապահովման առումով կդառնա ամենամեծ մարտահրավերը, որը երբեւիցե ծառացել Է ոստիկանության եւ քաղաքի առջեւ»:
Զբոսնելով Նյու Յորքի փողոցներով՝ անզեն աչքով կարելի Է տեսնել այն լայնածավալ աշխատանքները, որոնք տարվում են քաղաքի հատուկ հյուրերի անվտանգությունն ապահովելու համար:
ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր շենքի ուղղությամբ տեղափոխում են բազմաթիվ սպիտակ պահակախցիկներ. որոնք ապագա արգելադետքեր են ոստիկանների համար, ովքեր սահմանափակելու են անցումը դրա համար անհրաժեշտ փաստաթղթեր չունեցողների համար: Անվտանգության ծառայությունների աշխատակիցներն արդեն սեպտեմբերի 22-ի երեկոյից աշխատանքի են ձեռնամուխ եղել իրենց նոր պահակակետերում:
Նյու Յորքի ոստիկանության մամուլի ծառայությունում (NYPD) ՌԻԱ Նովոստիին հայտնել են, որ Հռոմի պապի այցի եւ Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի նստաշրջանի ընթացքում միայն NYPD-ի աշխատակիցների թիվը կհասնի 6 հազարի, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
