Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր ներկա է գտնվել Դիլիջանի կենտրոնական դպրոցի բացման արարողությանը, որը ոչ միայն կրթական համակարգում, այլ նաև Դիլիջանի համայնքային զարգացման գործում ևս մեկ կարևոր ներդրում է:

Դպրոցի բացումը կատարել են «Այբ» կրթական հիմնադրամի համահիմնադիր և «Այբ կրթական հանգույց» հիմնադրամի հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի նախագահ տեր Մեսրոպ քահանա Արամյանը և ՀՀ կենտրոնական բանկի նախագահ Արթուր Ջավադյանը:

Նախագահը շրջայց է կատարել նորաբաց ուսումնական հաստատությունում, ծանոթացել պայմաններին, ուսումնական ծրագրերին ու երեխաների բազմակողմանի զարգացումն ապահովելու նպատակով մշակված դասավանդման մեթոդաբանությանը:

Դիլիջանի կենտրոնական դպրոցն ստեղծվել է 2013 թվականին, «Այբ» կրթական հիմնադրամի կողմից' ՀՀ կենտրոնական բանկի հետ համագործակցության արդյունքում: Այն հիմնական դպրոց է՝ նախատեսված 1-9-րդ դասարանի մինչև 160 աշակերտի համար:

ՀՀ կրթական համակարգ Դիլիջանի կենտրոնական դպրոցի մուտքով ստեղծվել է դպրոցի քաղաքային մոդել՝ հասանելի ոչ միայն ՀՀ ԿԲ աշխատակիցների, այլև Դիլիջանում բնակվող այլ ընտանիքների երեխաների համար:

Պատասխանատուների հավաստմամբ, իր գաղափարախոսությամբ և տեսլականով, ուսումնական ծրագրով, դասավանդման մեթոդաբանությամբ ու մոտեցումներով, ուսուցիչների և աշակերտների ընդունելության քաղաքականությամբ դպրոցն ամբողջությամբ սինխրոնացված է Երևանի «Այբ» տարրական և միջին դպրոցների հետ: «Այբ» կրթական հիմնադրամը պատասխանատու է դպրոցի կառավարման և «Այբ»-ի չափանիշներին համապատասխան ուսումնական բովանդակության վերահսկողության համար:

Դպրոցի շենքի կառուցումը և գործունեությունն ամբողջությամբ ֆինանսավորվում է ՀՀ ԿԲ կողմից:

Դիլիջանի կենտրոնական դպրոցի տարածքում է տեղակայված նաև Մասաչուսեթսի տեխնոլոգիական ինստիտուտի հետ համագործակցության արդյունքում ստեղծված ֆաբլաբը՝ գիտարդյունաբերական լաբորատորիան, որը ծառայելու է ինչպես դպրոցի աշակերտներին, այնպես էլ Դիլիջանի և հարակից քաղաքների աշակերտներին, ուսանողներին և ստեղծագործողներին:

Շրջայցի ժամանակ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանին տեղեկացրել են, որ ներկայումս դպրոցում սովորող 119 աշակերտների ավելի քան 80%-ը և դպրոցի աշխատակիցների 24%-ը Դիլիջան քաղաքից են, իսկ 22%-ը Երևանից Դիլիջան է տեղափոխվել ընտանիքով, աշխատակիցների 13%-ը Հայաստանի այլ մարզերից է, մնացած աշխատակիցները համատեղում են աշխատանքը Երևանում և Դիլիջանում:
