Оказывается, в Европе не принято уступать место старшим. И вот почему

Каждого из нас с детства учили тому, что в общественном транспорте нужно непременно уступать место старшим. Этим жестом мы якобы показываем уважение к дедушкам и бабушкам и благодарим их за всё, что они сделали для младшего поколения. Они уже старенькие и заслужили отдых, тогда как молодежь в состоянии полчасика постоять.
Конечно же, у нас есть много людей, которые до последнего предпочитают не замечать стоящую рядом старушку. Но об этом правиле этикета слышали все!
Как оказалось, такое негласное правило действует далеко не во всех странах. Например, в Европе уступать месть старшим не принято. Более того, если ты это сделаешь, на тебя могут всерьез обидеться!
Дело в том, что большинство европейских бабушек и дедушек стараются вести спортивный образ жизни. Они ездят на велосипедах, бегают по утрам и посещают тренажерные залы, потому что хотят хорошо выглядеть и быть здоровыми.
Если же ты захочешь уступить им место в транспорте, они расценят это как намек, что очень плохо выглядят...
Поэтому в европейских странах все равны в общественном транспорте. А если кто-то действительно болен и не может стоять, он попросту попросит уступить место. Это не считается постыдным или унизительным.
