 ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահ Գալուստ Սահակյանի գլխավորած խորհրդարանական պաշտոնական պատվիրակությանը հունվարի 30-ին ընդունել է Ճապոնիայի վարչապետ Շինձո Աբեն: Հանդիպման ընթացքում վարչապետը գոհունակությամբ փաստել է, որ հայ-ճապոնական խորհրդարանական փոխգործակցությունը վերջին տարիներին զարգացման կարեւոր փուլ է թեւակոխել, ինչն իր դրական ազդեցությունն ունի երկու երկրների համագործակցության վրա:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ջերմ ընդունելության համար եւ հույս հայտնել, որ հայ-ճապոնական արդյունավետ համագործակցությունը կխորանա նաեւ միջազգային բազմակողմ հարթակներում:

Գալուստ Սահակյանը Շինձո Աբեին է փոխանցել ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի՝ Հայաստան այցի պաշտոնական հրավերը: Ճապոնիայի վարչապետն իր ջերմ ողջույններն է փոխանցել ՀՀ Նախագահին եւ նշել, որ երկու երկրների համագործակցությունն այժմ գտնվում է բարձր մակարդակում: Վարչապետ Շինձո Աբեն նշել է, որ պատրաստ է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության հետ առավել խորացնել եւ զարգացնել համագործակցությունը հնարավոր բոլոր ոլորտներում:

ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահ Գալուստ Սահակյանն ու Ճապոնիայի վարչապետ Շինձո Աբեն քննարկել են նաեւ տնտեսության, առեւտրի, մշակույթի եւ տուրիզմի բնագավառներում համագործակցությանն առնչվող հարցեր, ինչպես նաեւ նախանշել այլ ոլորտներում համագործակցության հնարավոր ուղիները:
