Մոտ ժամանակներս ծրագրվում է համատեղ զորավարժություններ անցկացնել Վրաստանի, Ադրբեջանի և Թուրքիայի զինված ուժերի մասնակցությամբ: Այդ մասին հայտարարվել է փետրվարի 1-ին Վրաստանում Ադրբեջանի դեսպան Դուրսուն Հասանովի և Վրաստանի պաշտպանության նախարար Լևան Իզորիայի հանդիպման ժամանակ:

Երեք երկրները տնտեսական, էներգետիկ–տրանսպորտային սերտ կապերի շնորհիվ յուրահատուկ կոալիցիա են ձևավորել տարածաշրջանում, իսկ ռազմական համագործակցությունը խոսում է ռազմավարական բնույթի փոխգործակցության մասին։
Հիշեցնենք, որ Թուրքիայի, Ադրբեջանի և Վրաստանի մաքսային ծառայությունները վերջերս պայմանավորվել են հեշտացնել Բաքու-Թբիլիսի-Կարս երկաթգծով ապրանքների տարանցման ընթացակարգերը և սահմանել այսպես կոչված մի «պատուհանի սկզբունք»՝ բեռները երեք երկրների տարածքով տարանցելու համար: Չմոռանանք, որ այդ նույն սկզբունք է սահմանվելու շուտով նաև Ադրբեջան-Ղազախստան բեռնափոխադրումների (Բաքու-Աքթաու լաստանավային փոխադրումների) համար: Թուրքիայի, Վրաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի միջև առկա նավթագազային նախագծերին գումարվելու է նաև տրանսպորտային տարրը՝ Բաքու-Թբիլիսի-Կարսի տեսքով, ինչպես նաև Բաքվից դեպի Բաթումի արագընթաց ավտոմայրուղու տեսքով՝ Սև ծով-Կասպից ծով միջանցքի ձևավորման համատեքստում:

Բացի այդ, երեք երկրներն ամեն տարի համատեղ զորավարժություններ են իրականացնում, Թուրքիան, որպես ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամ և տարածաշրջանային տերություն զինում, մարզում է վրացի և ադրբեջանցի զինվորականներին՝ ռազմա-տեխնիկական և այլ համագործակցության ֆորմատներով: Երեք երկրները միավորելու են նաև իրենց էներգետիկ համակարգերը՝ «Էներգետիկ կամուրջ» կոչվող ծրագրի շրջանակներում ՝ էլէներգիան Ադրբեջանից Վրաստանի տարածքով ուղղվելու է Թուրքիա, իսկ որոշ ամիսներին Թուրքիայից ուղղվելու է հակառակ ուղղությամբ:

Չմոռանանք, որ Վրաստանն իր Ազգային անվտանգության ռազմավարությունում Թուրքիան ու Ադրբեջանը դիտարկում է որպես ռազմավարական գործընկերներ, իսկ Վրաստանն ու Ադրբեջանը նաև ՎՈՒԱՄ անդամ են: Արտաքին և տարածաշրջանային քաղաքականության առումով երեք երկրները գործում են միասնական ուղենիշներով՝ ՌԴ-ը շրջանցող էներգետիկ-տրանսպորտային միջանցքի ստեղծման՝ Մոսկվայի հարավկովկասյան գլխավոր դաշնակից ՀՀ-ի մուկուսացման համար: Թուրք-ադրբեջանական տանդեմի ազդեցության մասին Վրաստանի վրա շատ է խոսվում, սակայն Հայաստանը պետք է այդ եռյակից փորձի դեպի իր կողմ քաշի Վրաստանը:

Ադրբեջանը ակտիվորեն օգտագործում է տեղի կես միլիոնի հասնող ադրբեջանական համայնքը՝ գործում է «Վրաստանի ադրբեջանցիների կոնգրեսը», այլ ՀԿ-ներ, ինչպես նաև SOCAR-ի ֆինանսավորմամբ հիմնականում ադրբեջանաբնակ Քվեմո-Քարթլիում իրականացվում են բազմաթիվ սոցիալական, ենթակառուցվածքային և այլ նախագծեր: Հայաստանի համար կենսական նշանակության ՝ «կյանքի ճանապարհը» անցնում է Վրաստանի հենց ադրբեջանաբնակ շրջաններով՝ պատերազմի դեպքում՝ հայ-ադրբեջանական, Ղարաբաղում, տեղի ադրբեջանցիները կարող են Բաքվի դրդմամբ փորձեն կտրել այդ ճանապարհը, կամ դրանով անցնելը դարձնեն վտանգավոր:
