22 սենատորներ Թրամփից պահանջել են խստացնել պատժամիջոցները Իրանի նկատմամբ

 ԱՄՆ-ի Կոնգրեսի Սենատի 22 անդամներ, երկու կուսակցությունների ներկայացուցիչներ, նամակ են ուղարկել երկրի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփին՝ պահանջելով նոր պատժամիջոցներ սահմանել Իրանի նկատմամբ վերջերս նրա կողմից իրականացված հրթիռային արձակումների կապակցությամբ, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը: 
«Մենք անհանգստացած ենք այն հաղորդագրություններից, որ Իրանը բալիստիկ հրթիռի փորձարկում Է անցկացրել 2017 թվականի հունվարի 29-ին»,- ասված Է նամակի տեքստում, որը ՏԱՍՍ-ին Է տրամադրել Սենատի արտաքին գործերի կոմիտեի աշխատակազմը: Դրա հեղինակները նշում են, որ նման արձակումները ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի 2231 բանաձեւի խախտում են, որի համաձայն Թեհրանը պարտավորվել Է չզբաղվել «միջուկային մարտալիցք կրելու ընդունակ հրթիռների մշակմամբ»:
Նամակն ստորագրել են արտաքին գործերի կոմիտեի նախագահ Բոբ Քորքերը, այդ կոմիտեի ավագ դեմոկրատ Բեն Քարդինը, ինչպես նաեւ պալատի անդամներ Թիմ Քեյնը, Ռոբերտ Մենենդեսը, Մարկո Ռուբիոն, Լինդսի Գրեմը, Թոմ Քոթոնը, Ռոբերտ Փորթմանը եւ ուրիշներ: 
Ավելի վաղ ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահի ազգային անվտանգության հարցերով օգնական Մայքլ Ֆլինը հայտարարել Է, որ ԱՄՆ-ը դատապարտում Է Իրանի կողմից բալիստիկ հրթիռի արձակումը եւ համարում Է, որ այդ գործողությունները խախտում են տարածաշրջանի անվտանգությունն ու կայունությունը, ինչի կապակցությամբ  պաշտոնական նախազգուշացում Է անում երկրին: «Մենք պաշտոնապես նախազգուշացնում ենք Իրանին… Իրանը շարունակում Է սպառնալ ԱՄՆ-ին ու նրա դաշնակիցներին: ԱՄՆ-ը շարունակում Է դատապարտել Իրանի նմանօրինակ գործողությունները, որոնք խախտում են անվտանգությունն ու կայունությունը եւ պետությունների բարգավաճումը Մերձավոր Արեւելքում»,- ասել Է նա: 
Իրանի պաշտպանության նախարար Հոսեյն Դեհգանը հաստատել Է նոր հրթիռների արձակումը, նշելով, որ այն չի խախտում Գործողությունների համատեղ համապարփակ պլանը, որը 2015 թվականին հուլիսին Իրանի հետ համաձայնեցվել Է ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի մշտական հնգյակի եւ Գերմանիայի կողմից:
Փետրվարի 1-ին ԱՄՆ-ի Կոնգրեսում նոր օրինագիծ Է ներկայացվել Իրանի դեմ պատժամիջոցների վերաբերյալ: Փաստաթուղթը պատրաստվել Է չորս կոնգրեսականների կողմից, որոնք գլխավորում են Իսրայելի գործերի խումբը, որը գործում Է Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի հանրապետական խմբակցության կազմում: Մասնավորապես, օրինագիծն ուղղված Է Իրանի կողմից բալիստիկ հրթիռների մշակման ծրագրի դեմ պայքարին: 
Օրինագծով նախատեսվում Է «նոր պատժամիջոցներ սահմանել Իսլամական հեղափոխության պահապանների կորպուսի եւ Mahan Air ավիաընկերության դեմ, որն օգնում Է Կորպուսին տարածելու ահաբեկչությունը»:
ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը փետրվարի 2-ին հայտարարել Է, թե ԱՄՆ-ը միջուկային գործարքի օգնությամբ փրկել Է Իրանին, որը «վերջին շնչում Էր»: «Իրանը վերջին շնչում Էր եւ կկործանվեր նախքան կգար ԱՄՆ-ը եւ նրան փրկօղակ կտար իրանական գործարքի տեսքով՝ 150 մլրդ դոլար»,-գրել Է Թրամփը Twitter-ի իր միկրոբլոգում: 
«Իրանը պաշտոնապես նախազգուշացված Էր բալիստիկ հրթիռի փորձակման կապակցությամբ: Նրանք պետք Է շնորհակալ լինեին այն ահավոր գործարքի համար, որն ԱՄՆ-ը կնքել Է նրանց հետ»,-ասված Է Թրամփի մեկ այլ հաղորդագրության մեջ:
