 Վրաստանը պետք Է հարաբերություններն ամրապնդի ե՛ւ Եվրամիության, ե՛ւ Ռուսաստանի հետ: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտարարել Է ԵԱՀԿ-ի գործող նախագահ, Ավստրիայի ինտեգրացման եւ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սեբաստիան Կուրցը՝ ելույթ ունենալով վրացի իր պաշտոնակից Միխայիլ Ջանելիձեի հետ համատեղ անցկացված մամուլի ասուլիսում:
«Գոյություն չունի «կամ, կամ»: «Չեն կարող հարաբերություններ լինել կամ միայն Եվրամիության, կամ միայն Ռուսաստանի հետ: Ե՛վ առաջինը, ե՛ւ երկրորդը պետք Է հնարավոր լինի, եւ դա հնարավոր կլինի: Վրաստանի հարաբերությունները պետք Է միայն ամրապնդվեն մի կողմից՝ Եվրամիության, մյուս կողմից՝ Ռուսաստանի հետ»,-հայտարարել Է Կուրցը:
Վրաստանի ԱԳ նախարարը նշել Է, որ Կուրցի հետ հանդիպմանը խոսել Է վրաց-ռուսական փոխհարաբերությունների, ինչպես նաեւ կենտրոնական իշխանությունների կողմից չվերահսկվող Վրաստանի տարածքների դրության մասին: Նա շնորհակալություն Է հայտնել ավստրիական կողմին՝ Վրաստանի տարածքային ամբողջականությանն ու ինքնիշխանությանը ցուցաբերվող կայուն աջակցության համար: 
Կուրցը պաշտոնական այցով Վրաստան Է ժամանել փետրվարի 2-ի գիշերը: Նա հանդիպում կունենա երկրի վարչապետ Գեորգի Կվիրիկաշվիլիի եւ նախագահ Գեորգի Մարգվելաշվիլիի հետ: Նաեւ ԵԱՀԿ-ի նախագահը կմասնակցի Էրգնեթիի հանդիպմանը, որը տեղի Է ունենալու միջադեպերի կանխման եւ հակազդման մեխանիզմների (ՄԿՀՄ) ձեւաչափի շրջանակներում, հաղորդել Է Sputnik-ը:
