Անջելինա Ջոլին հանդես Է եկել Թրամփի միգրացիոն քաղաքականության դեմ

 Անջելինա Ջոլին, որն արդեն 15 տարի Է՝ ՄԱԿ-ի բարի կամքի դեսպան Է, քննադատել Է ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի հրամանագրերը միգրացիոն քաղաքականության բնագավառում: Ինչպես դերասանուհին հայտարարել Է իր հոդվածում, որը փետրվարի 2-ին հրապարակվել Է The New York Times թերթում, փախստականների նկատմամբ քաղաքականությունը պետք Է «հիմնված լինի փաստերի, այլ ոչ թե վախի վրա»: 
«Միանգամայն բնական Է, որ փախստականների հետ կապված գլոբալ ճգնաժամը եւ ահաբեկչության սպառնալիքը մեզ հարկադրում են մտածել այն մասին, թե ինչպես լավագույնս պաշտպանենք մեր սահմանները»,-գրել Է Ջոլին: Սակայն, ընդգծել Է նա, «մեր արձագանքը պետք Է կշռադատված լինի»:
Դերասանուհին խոստովանել Է, որ, «լինելով վեց երեխաների մայր, անչափ շատ Է ցանկանում, որ ԱՄՆ-ն անվտանգ լինի նրանց ու երկրի բոլոր երեխաների համար»: Միեւնույն ժամանակ նա այն կարծիքին Է, որ Թրամփի վարչակազմը չափազանց խիստ միջոցներ Է սահմանել ներգաղթի ոլորտում:   
«Եթե մենք ազդանշան ենք ուղարկում այն մասին, որ անթույլատրելի Է փակել դռները փախստականների համար եւ նրանց խտրականության ենթարկել կրոնական հատկանիշով, ապա մենք կրակի հետ ենք խաղում»,-համոզված Է դերասանուհին: Նա նշել Է, որ այդ կերպ ԱՄՆ-ը «իր մոտ Է հրավիրում անկայունությունը», որից նա այդքան ձգտում Է պաշտպանվել: «Եթե մենք ստեղծում ենք երկրորդ կարգի փախստականների խումբ, ենթադրելով, որ մուսուլմաններն ավելի քիչ են արժանի պաշտպանության, ապա մենք ծայրահեղականություն ենք բորբոքում արտասահմանում»,-հավելել Է Ջոլին:
«Դա մեր ուղին չԷ,-կարծում Է հոլիվուդյան աստղը:-Վախից դրդված գործելը մեր ճանապարհը չԷ»: «Ընդհանուր սպառնալիքի դեմ պայքարում եւ ձգտվելով ընդհանուր անվտանգության՝ մենք պետք Է գործենք բոլոր մարդկանց հետ միասին՝ անկախ նրանց դավանանքից ու ծագումից»,- եզրափակել Է Ջոլին, համոզմունք հայտնելով, որ ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահը հենց այդ կերպ «պետք Է կառավարի երկիրը բոլոր ամերիկացիների անունից», հաղորվել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
