«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «Հայաստանյան ներքաղաքական կյանքում տեղի ունեցող զարգացումները դեռևս շարունակում են ընթանալ կուլիսային հարթությունում: Նախընտրական դաշինքներ են ձևավորվում, խոստումներ շռայլվում և պայմանավորվածություններ ձեռք բերվում: Ինչպես հայտնի է՝ լիբերալ դաշտում ընտրություններին մասնակցելու հայտ են ներկայացրել նաև «Ազատ դեմոկրատներ» կուսակցությունն ու նախկին վարչապետ Հրանտ Բագրատյանի «Ազատություն» կուսակցությունը:
Բայց նրանք ոչ թե դաշինք են կազմելու, այլ հանդես են գալու ԱԴԿ-ի ցուցակում, որը գլխավորելու է անձամբ Հրանտ Բագրատյանը: «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի տեղեկություններով՝ վերջերս ԱԴԿ նախագահ Խաչատուր Քոքոբելյանը և ՀՀ նախկին վարչապետ Հրանտ Բագրատյանը հանդիպել են Սերժ Սարգսյանի հետ՝ թերևս ԱԺ մտնելու շուրջ որոշ պայմանավորվածություններ ձեռք բերելու ակնկալիքով: Մեկնաբանությունների համար «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը դիմեց Քոքոբելյանին, որը, սակայն, հերքեց հանդիպման մասին լուրը. «Անհեթեթություն է, և նախընտրական կամպանիային բնորոշ սև PR-ի էլեմենտ եմ տեսնում դրա մեջ»,- ասաց նա»:
