  Հայաստանում 2016թ-ին զգալիորեն նվազել է ճանապարհատրանսպորտային պատահարների, դրանց հետևանքով զոհերի ու վիրավորների թիվը: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին փետրվարի 3-ին կայացած ասուլիսի ժամանակ ասաց «Աքիլես» ավտովարորդների իրավունքների պաշտպանության  ՀԿ-ի նախագահ Էդուարդ Հովհաննիսյանը:

«ՃՏՊ-ների թիվը 2015թ.-ի 3.399-ի համեմատ 2016-ին նվազել է մինչ 3.203:  Պատահարների հետևանքով զոհերի թիվը կրճատվել է 79-ով. 2015-ի 346-ի փոխարեն 2016-ին արձանագրվել է մահվան 267 դեպք: Նրանցից ոչ սթափ վիճակում 2016-ին եղել է  1 մարդ, 2016-ին`0: Երևանում 2015-ին արձանագրվել է 95 զոհ, 2016-ին՝ 74: Զոհված հետիոտների թիվը  2015-ին կազմել է 94, 2016-ին՝ 74: Ընդ որում՝ 2015-ին հետիոտների մեղավորությամբ մահվան դեպքերը կազմել են 51, 2016-ին՝ 39: Վարորդների մեղավորությամբ 2015-ին մահվան դեպքերը կազմել են 43, 2016-ին՝ 35: Ընդհանուր առմամբ, զոհերի թիվը նվազել է մոտ 25 տոկոսով»,-ասաց Էդուա րդ Հովհաննիսյանը:

Էդուարդ Հովհաննիսյանի խոսքով՝ ավելացել են բողոքները տեսուչների կայացրած որոշումների դեմ` 2015թ.-ին դրանք կազմել են 1331, իսկ 2016-ին`1774 բողոք: Ավելացել են նաև տեսանկարահանող և արագաչափ սարքերով արձանագրած տվյալների դեմ բողոքները. դրանց թիվը 2015թ.-ին եղել է 11.300, իսկ 2016-ին` 13.029

«Ներկայումս արագաչափերի քանակը ամբողջ հանրապետությունում կազմում է 175, որից 81-ը` Երևանում: Տեսանկարահանող սարքերի թիվը կազմում է 617, իսկ հսկվող խաչմերուկները՝ 125»,- եզրափակեց «Աքիլես» ավտովարորդների իրավունքների պաշտպանության  ՀԿ-ի նախագահ:
