ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարի տեղակալ Շավարշ Քոչարյանը Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի և դրան նախորդած երկու տարիների աշխատանքը բավականին արդյունավետ է համարում: Դա են վկայում ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչած երկրների թվի աճը, ինչպես նաև տարբեր միջազգային կազմակերպությունների կողմից ընդունված բանաձևերն ու փաստաթղթերը: «Հիշում եմ և պահանջում» փորձագիտական համաժողովին ընդառաջ լրագրողների հետ զրույցում այս մասին խոսեց պաշտոնյան: «Այսօր չափազանց կարևոր միջոցառում է, որը թույլ է տալիս արձանագրել այն հսկայական աշխատանքի արդյունքները, որոնք կատարվել են վերջին երկու-երեք տարվա ընթացքում ու նախանշել այդ ուղղությամբ մեր ապագա աշխատանքները»,-` նշեց Շավարշ Քոչարյանը նկատելով, որ առկա են լուրջ արդյունքներ. 2014-2015 թվականներին տեղի ունեցան կարևոր իրադարձություններ, այդ թվում` Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչած երկրների թիվը մոտ երկու տասնյակից դարձավ 24: Եթե մինչ այդ ցեղասպանության ժխտումը քրեականացրել էին ընդամենը երկու պետություն, ապա նրանց թիվն էլ դարձավ չորս:

ԱԳ փոխնախարարը միջազգային տարբեր կազմակերպությունների արձագանքներից առավել կարևորեց Եվրախորհրդարանի բանաձևը, որը ոչ միայն դատապարտում էր Հայոց ցեղասանության իրագործումը, այլև կոչ էր անում Թուրքիային առերեսվել իր իսկ պատմության հետ և գտնում էր, որ դա միակ ճանապարհն է հաշտության հասնելու: «Կարևոր է վերջերս ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի ընդունած բանաձևը, որի հեղինակը Հայաստանն է, բայց համահեղինակել է 84 պետություն: ՄԱԿ-ն այդ բանաձևով դեկտեմբերի 9-ը, իսկ դա շատ կարևոր օր է, քանի որ այդ օրը ՄԱԿ-ն ընդունեց ցեղասպանություններ ի դատապարտման ու կանխարգելման կոնվեցիան, ճանաչել է ցեղասպանությունների զոհերի հիշատակի և արժանապատվության օր»,-շեշտեց փոխնախարարը:

Շավարշ Քոչարյանը հատկանշական համարեց իրողությունը, որ այս ընթացքում Հայաստանը ճանաչեց հույների ու ասորիների ցեասպանությունը Օսմանյան կայսրությունում: «Հիմա աշխարհը շատ ավելի մեծ ուշադրությամբ է հետևում նմանատիպ ոճրագործությունների կանխարգելման խնդրին: Լայն շրջանակներ շատ լավ գիտակցում են արդեն, որ նախորդ ցեղասպանությունների չդատապարտումն ու չկանխարգելումը պարարտ հող է ստեղծում նոր ցեղասպանությունների համար»,-ընդգծեց Շավարշ Քոչարյանը` հավելելով, որ սկսած աշխատանքները կատարելու են ավելի մեծ թափով ու համախմբվածությամբ: «Այն բոլոր ուղղություններով աշխատանքները, որոնց մի մասը ես նշեցի, շարունակվելու են նոր համախմբվածությամբ, որը ձեռք է բերվել վերջին շրջանում` ի շնորհիվ շատ լուրջ համագործության ներհայաստանյան և սփյուռքի կառույցների միջև: Այդ համախմբվածությունը մեզ հույս է տալիս նոր թափով շարունակել այն, ինչ բխում է մեր պետության շահերից: Նպատակը մեկն է` Թուրքիան պետք է ճանաչի Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը»,-եզրափակեց Շավարշ Քոչարյանը:

Երևանում ընթանում է «Հիշում եմ և պահանջում» փորձագիտական համաժողովը, որի ժամանակ ամփոփվում են Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի միջոցառումների արդյունքները:
